They are percale cotton so they are not soft but I don’t want them to be soft. I want them to be crispy! I hate soft sheets. I am “a woman of a certain age” and these sheets help greatly with night sweats. I got the llama ones and they are super cute. Bonus is that it’s easy to tell what the right way up is because of the llama design. So far they have not shrank and started sliding off the mattress, I hate that. Our mattress requires 16 inch pockets and these do just fine. I love them and would totally order more if they come out with a pattern I love as much as I love these llamas. ... show more

These 200 thread count 100% cotton sheets are a little scratchy if you don't use fabric softener. They're pretty basic, but I sleep hot and I was looking for something to stay cool. I ordered purple, and received what is labeled as such, but the print is more pink than anything. I'm okay with the color because these sheets actually stay put on the bed! The fitted sheet has elastic all the way around. The pillow cases are straight slip style- no flap to cover the end of the pillow and hold it in. I have a Tempurpedic mattress topper on my queen size mattress. It adds 3" of height, but the fitted sheet fits just fine. I'm more happy with the fit than the color. Fit is more important anyway, because I hate the fitted sheet to get all wrinkled and wadded under me when I sleep. I paid in full for these sheets, am a real person and was not compensated in any way for my review. ... show more

    • Exactly What I Was Looking For

After many failed attempts of finding affordable percale sheets, finding these was a dream come true. I had bought and returned several other sheet sets claiming to be percale (when in actuality they were not) and was beginning to lose hope. I am autistic and have sensory issues with certain textures, and the feeling of microfiber sheets is so awful it quite literally sends me into a meltdown. I also have issues with getting really hot under sheets. I tried several different kinds, including those bamboo sheets that claim they are cooling-- not true, they were the hottest sheets I've ever tried and the texture was horrendous. Percale sheets are perfect because they are not overly soft like microfiber sheets, and they actually stay very cool. Percale tends to be a bit scratchier than other sheet types, but for my sensory issues that is actually the perfect texture. I was also astounded at the price tag on these sheets. For such a low price, I was expecting them to be just as bad as the many other sheet sets I've tried (most of which were actually more expensive than these), and was completely surprised when they ended up being perfect. Great quality as well, I have not noticed any defects or rips in mine. Right out of the box they have wrinkles/lines on them due to the folding, but those went away without me even having to wash them or iron them or anything. No chemical smells of any kind. Also, the fitted sheets actually stay on the bed!! I had so many issues with other fitted sheets slipping off the corners of the bed and not staying and having to re-tuck them every single night. I've had these for a month and have not had to adjust the fitted sheet *once*. All in all, these sensory-friendly sheets have made this autistic adult a very happy camper! Also: I got the Diamond Blue pattern and it looks just like the picture. It goes very well with my grey headboard and comforter. Overall, I think they are very nice-looking sheets. ... show more

I love these sheets but they seem to shrink a little mire with every wash. There is only about a quarter of an inch that gies under the mattress. I have a standard twin mattress.
