It’s a better product than the ad shows. It’s not oversize, so I can wear under my shirt. There are two Velcro fasten points. The first secures the belt in place. It’s not meant to take the stress of fit adjustment. Just fasten. The second set of straps, on each side is for the fitment. There are three splines in the back which are rigid so the whole thing will need some getting used to during daily use.

I really wanted to like this back support, and it did relieve my pain. But for me - a smallish woman of 80 - it was simply too big and bulky. The main problem was the loops at at the ends of the extra straps to adjust the fit. The loops were so big that they would have poked out and been visible through my clothing. Perhaps my back pain just isn't quite severe enough to tolerate the bulkiness and the little loops.

I've had several different back support belts in the past and this is easily the most comfortable and supportive belt I've owned. I love the fact that you can remove the elastic straps if you don't need them. I have "thrown" my back out in the lumbar region on a number of occasions. My routine has been to wear the most supportive belt acutely and then wear a lesser supportive belt as my back heals. Now I have one belt that does it all! It is also narrower in front which I love as some belts are way too wide in front and actually compress your rib cage and is very uncomfortable. With the straps on and along with the vertical support strips it is as supportive as any belt I've owned. This is a few dollars more than many but well worth the little extra in cost. I am so happy I purchased it and highly recommend!

I guess this was a reality check that I need to lose some weight. It does fit but it is pretty snug (just a tad too much), for context I wear size 38s at the waist. It does make it harder to breathe from the stomach.

I have a couple of similar back support brace for my back pain and this one is actually the most comfortable one so far. It provides good support and very easy to put on and take off. I really like the wide strap which is very easy to adjust to control the support and tightness. It does help to reduce my back pain and provide good support. Not like others with rigid edges, this one has soft edges and I barely feel the stiff of back support sticks. It is very lightweight and comfortable to wear. Highly recommended if you want a lightweight and comfortable back support brace.
