Works well for securing things or winching something tight. The main thing I worry about is I doubt this truly has a 2 ton capacity. I would trust it with possibly 1000lbs but anything over that and I would start to worry since it really doesn't seem strong enough to hold 2 tons. Still decent and works for other things

Not a bad come a along, but from the construction of this one vs others I have, I do question if it is really a 2 ton capacity. My other 2 tons are visibly more robust and this appears to be built like the couple of 1 ton ones I have laying around. That said, it works smoothly and securely as you would expect from a brand new tool - time will tell how it holds up in the long run

It's hard to get this much pulling or lifting power for the small price of a come along winch. These are great to take on trips and I have been using these my whole life for lifting and pulling by hand. This one is well built but I would probably consider it a one ton but I didn't test it with 2 tons. The 12ft length should be enough for most light jobs. If you need more power you'll have to spend more but this is a good one to keep around. Recommend.

For this review I will be comparing this 2 ton come along winch to another 2 ton come along winch I purchased from Harbor Freight. My first impression about this winch is that it's not a true 2 ton winch because it's only hookup option is using a snatch block which is effectively doubles the pulling force with mechanical advantage. The whole winch including the handle and cable diameter looks closer to a 1 ton cable puller than a 2 ton cable puller. I would treat this winch like a 1 ton winch and act accordingly. I find the product description to be a bit misleading and I wouldn't recommend this product for that reason.
