I love my Columbia hiking boots. It was -2° in our town when we went to our Christmas parade. My feet were very warm and the traction made me feel secure. It has great ankle support in the shoe is very comfortable to Support. They are not too heavy on the feet. I wear a size 8 1/2 wide. These are true to size.

The media could not be loaded. The quality of these Columbia boots are made very well. I can’t speak for whether their waterproof yet as I did not take them near any water. I did take them on a 6 mile hike right from get go. They were very comfortable except a little tight in the toe box however, my toes felt comfortable, kind of. I do feel like you do have to break them and I know other people said that they didn’t have to break them in, but maybe it’s just me. I definitely recommend wearing them out and about before you take them on a long hike as I ended up getting a blister on one of my toes. But that was a minor thing. Everything else felt great the questioning of the shoe the way it supported your feet and ankle felt very stable. At the end of the walk, my feet were not tired and I didn’t notice the blister until I took the shoes off. I have purchased other hiking shoes on Amazon one recently I had to send back immediately and one that used to give me a blisters horribly. I love my long hikes and definitely need a good hiking shoe that’s going to get me through and be comforting to my feet. These get the job done but again I still think I need to break them in a bit more just on my left foot. They seem like because the way they are made that they might also be very good in the snow as well. They have great traction on the bottom and I live in the mountains so I will be trying them out during the winter.

These are stylish and comfortable! I’ll update the review when I use them for their purpose. But upon trying them on, they are true to size with a little wiggle room. They feel durable and weather proof!

These small ladies hiking boots work well. I have a high instep and small foot. Even with thick socks most hiking boots don't fit me well. These do. I'm still breaking them in, yet so far no blisters or bruises. I expect to wear them from fall through spring except un heavy snow when I switch to boots with wool felt liners for better warm. They are well built, flexible enough soles for walking while firm & thick enough for climbing loose rocky surfaces. They claim to be waterproof but I'm spraying them with silicone anyway as early walks are always through wet grass.

I hiked in the rain in these boots and my feet stayed dry all day! The fit was accurate, ordering shoes online always makes me kind of nervous because you never know what you’re gonna get, but these fit perfectly. They were also super comfortable and supportive.

So a while back the hiking boots I'd been wearing for a few decades gave up the ghost in a pretty unfortunate location (duct tape and moleskin to the rescue), but I never replaced them because they're pricey and I loathe shoe shopping. These boots went up on Prime Day, and we were planning to go chase waterfalls later, so I thought -- eh, why not? My ankles miss having legit hiking boots. I didn't care about color; I just got the cheapest version that day. I wear a 7-7.5 shoe size, but I use arch-support inner soles in hiking boots, plus I wear wool hiking socks (more arch support). My old hiking boots were size 8, but I decided to go with 8.5 wide boots this time, for a full size up with spare room for swollen feet. If that was a mistake, I could just send 'em back. These have turned out to be unbelievably comfortable. I wore them around the house, to the store, to the BMV, up ladders, wherever for a month. There wasn't really a break-in period -- they were just instantly wearable. The soles were initially something of a problem on stairs when I was wearing sweats because the sides would catch on them going up and down, woah. But I've discovered that same grippiness comes in handy on wet mud and rocks. Basically, good buy, good size for me, good all around so far. And I refuse to return them, all mine now.

I purchased these boots for a trip I has planned to the grand tetons. I hiked everyday and these boots did not fail. If the weather was cold in morning my feet were warm and then as the sun came up and my feet did not sweat. I did not have sore feet for as many times we hiked through the challenging mountains. The make of these boots are of quality and I personally would purchase another pair. Great job Columbia 😀:)
