As a wide flat footed 29 yr old woman, I have actively avoided purchasing "wide" shoes due to not liking their aesthetic. These shoes though are beautiful, functional, and incredibly comfortable. From the moment I put them on they felt like I'd been wearing them in for weeks. My flat foot was able to spread out perfectly in the toe box with a little bit of extra room that leads to a great comfortable fit. I 've used them for neighborhood walks, technical hikes climbing ladders, cycling, and just everyday concrete jungle walking downtown. The laces are great, I love the hooks at the top which make it super easy to get on and off. While I generally prefer soles with a better "boardfeel" or flexibility, I haven't felt any discomfort from the lack thereof in this rigid soled shoe. Overall, would definitely recommend this shoe for anyone looking for a <$100 boot.

Seriously. So. Comfortable. Warm but not chunky or bulky. Padding hugs and supports in the ankles. Lighter than normal work boots and better support than most comparably priced. Easy to clean with just a damp cloth. Been wearing for about a month and still love them just as much as the first time I tried them on. So glad I found these, can’t wait for the cold weather to come back so I can buy a cuter pair for other than work! Would rather wear them than my New Bal sneakers on the weekends. I wear a nine 1/2 wide and they made my feet look so cute and small. True to size & fit. Especially love the red laces!

Wore these only once prior to my Yosemite trip ona dog walk to “break in”. Read about a million reviews and these are it!! Kept my feet dry up the mist trail no issues slipping comfortable after 10 mile day! Worth every penny not to mention how many people I saw had these on at YNP!! No break in period I listened to reviews and sized up half a size to 7.5 and had absolutely no issues!

I have been hiking for 10+ years, never bought hiking boots until this year. I can’t believe it took me this long. I wore these boots hiking in the smoky mountains national park, in the rain. They did great, my feet did not get wet, despite having to walk through a lot of puddles and mud. Very good support, no blisters or need to break them in ahead of time. Very happy with their functionality and appearance. I saw numerous people with boots like mine, or a different color on the trails. I cannot recommend these more. And they were even very affordable. I wear between eight and 8.5, I ordered the 8.5 in case I ever needed to wear with two pairs of socks. Although I can wear them with two pairs of socks, the 8 1/2 was fine. Sometimes my feet are a little bit wide, but the wide was not needed for me.

So glad I had these for our trail hike. They probably saved my ankles from injury. They were comfortable, fit well, gripped rocks, stayed tied, and water resistant. Fits true to size, my usual 7.5. My only caveat is that they aren't super breathable, probably best for cooler days. But they were bearable in the summer, and I wouldn't have traded them for any other type of shoe. I am pretty picky about shoes and these were good all around.

Perfect light weight hiking boot. Bought for our trip to Tahoe, was perfect for the conditions. There was still lots of snow in certain areas as well as a lot of wet/muddy run off and my feet stayed dry. Will come in very handy for our annual boundary waters trip. Would totally recommend!

I recently went hiking in the Rocky Mountain National Park, and these shoes did AMAZING. I walked through rocky terrain, mud, snow, and puddles, and my feet stayed comfortable and dry the entire time! My only complaint would be that the back of my ankle did start to hurt a little towards the end of my four hour hike, but it could be because I needed to tighten the laces more. I 100% recommend to others!

I had trimalleolar left ankle fracture repair two years ago. Don't break your ankle!!! I still wear an Aircast brace most days. I completed PT ect . But nerve damage and discomfort continue. I have two shoes I can wear without brace. I must wear compression sock still but Merrell plastic shoes, Brook's Running shoes and these hiking boots are the ONLY shoes that don't cause pain. I have tried EVERYTHING! These boots were purchased 1/2 size up as I am going to see son in NM. No break in period needed. I bought (and returned) 5 different boots prior from Amazon. These Columbia boots are the perfect support for my ankle without putting pressure on hardware in ankle. Thank you Columbia! SO THANKFUL!
