This is one of the best winter jackets I've had in years. I just got it, so I can't speak to its longevity, but I love that it's lightweight AND warm. The length is great and I appreciate that the hood is lined. The hood fits fairly well and doesn't just blow off my head when it's windy, which I have found to be an annoyance with most other jackets. I ordered a 2XL. I'm 5'4"generally wearing size 18, large chest area. The 2XL is quite big on me. I should have exchanged it for a 1XL, but it was a relief to be able to wear a thick sweater under it and still have plenty of room to move and be comfortable with it zipped, so i didn't. I didn't know if I'd like the cuffs with thumbholes, but have found that I'm really liking them.

This is my absolute favorite jacket I have ever purchased! It is flattering, so warm and snug, and not bulky at all. It has an interior zipped pocket for money or your cell phone, and, perhaps my favorite feature, thumbholes to keep your hands toasty and dry. It kept me dry during a snowstorm while I was shoveling for over an hour. The thermal heating system really works well and keeps me as warm as if it were down. The color is lovely, especially on dreary winter days. I hope it lasts for a long time.

I love this jacket so much - two of my friends bought one as well, because I recommended it so highly. It’s very warm, cozy and soft inside. The hidden inside zip pocket holds my keys, cards and cash. The outside pockets are roomy and warm. The jacket doesn’t feel heavy, it’s light and warm. The hood is great. The only thing I like less is the top of the zipper, when zipped all the way up, covers my chin and mouth and it won’t push down. But it’s minor, and I hardly ever zip it up that high. It washes easily in my washer and dryer. It looks great! I get compliments all the time. I’m 5’5”, 155, and got the XL but could have gone with L. I like wearing a sweater under it sometimes and wanted room. I love this jacket!

I bought the wild iris size small. One thing worth mentioning is that the cuffs on the sleeves and the fur inside the hood are the same purple color as the rest of the coat, not black as pictured. Doesn’t really matter though. I’m 5’10 and 125 lbs, tall and lean with 35”bust, small fits great. The sleeves are actually long enough! Overall I love this coat, nice flattering shape.

This coat is amazing! Light, packable, super warm when needed and the color is absolutely beautiful! Seriously worth the cost as this liner keeps you warm when its cold! But its also a nice light-weight option when its cool. The hood is lined with faux fur so its super nice and cuddly. Absolutely cannot beat Columbia's style, comfort and ease. Would highly recommend. (The emerald green is such a nice color)

I’m plus size so I was afraid of the puffy coat making me look even more puffy or like the StayPuff marshmallow man. This coat is really flattering but it is so perfect for the cold and rain. It keeps you warm, dry, has the soft lining of the hood which is great, and the thumb holes on the sleeves. It’s the perfect length and doesn’t ride up in the back. The only bad thing about it is that I can’t pick up my 5 year old daughter when I wear it because she slides right off. Haha! It is a great coat!
