The plan I have is to wear these waterproof hiking shoes for future travel that will provide comfortable and non-slip walking on uneven surfaces (like cobblestones) and in possible wet weather. I have brought backup shoes in the past when traveling but did not need them and now I feel the 2nd pair of shoes are just using up valuable carryon luggage space. I am planning future travel with just the sole shoes on my feet for an entire trip in the future (Allbirds or my Saucony sneakers in clear non-rainy weather or these Columbia shoes in rainy weather). Well, that’s the plan. ;)

Great quality and super comfortable right out of the box. No break-in period needed. I’m usually a Women’s 7.5 or an 8, so I ordered both because I needed them right away for a hiking trip. Amazon recommended a 7.5 which was the right size. Trust Amazon’s recommendation.

2nd time ordering a Columbia brand shoe, this time I ordered 1/2 size larger than what I normally wear as they do run small. It fits perfect. Color is great & seems well made. It's not as lightweight as the sneakers I normally wear but that may be because it's waterproof and more durable. Great looking shoes, I would recommend them.

I purchased 4 different brands (Columbia, Keen and Merrill’s) of hiking shoe shoes. I typically wear a size 9M though ordered both 9 and 9.5. The Columbia 9.5 felt the most comfortable immediately after putting them on. I wore them for a full two days and feel confident they will be the perfect waterproof shoes for Ireland!

I bought these last fall. I have worn them all winter. They are stiff and clunky, but they did the job of keeping my feet warm and dry in the snow. The soles are not as grippy as I would like when it comes to icy sidewalks.
