These boots are so comfortable! I have been a die hard Timberland hiking boot fan for the past 12 years, but my last pair just didn’t feel as good as they had in the past. I went on the hunt for a different boot and I’m so glad I took a chance on these. I have always worn an 8.5 but based on other reviews I ordered a 9 in these and they fit perfectly. I have a narrow foot with a very high arch. When I put these on I thought these feel like slippers with support! I walk my dog 4 miles most days, so these are a welcome relief. I sprayed them twice with a silicon spray by Kiwi. I have only walked through wet grass so far and my feet stayed dry. I live in Indiana, so it won’t be long before the fall rains and snow will begin. I have high hopes that my feet will stay dry with properly treating these again with the silicone spray. I will update my review once the weather changes here. Another thing I won’t to mention is the ability to lace these tightly or loosely based on the width of your feet. The boots were comfortable and not stiff right out of the box, so you’ll be able to lace them how you need without breaking the boots in. I hope this helps and that you’ll enjoy them as much as I do. I ordered half a size up based reviews- that wasn’t necessary, so I went back down half a size. Again based on reviews I got a wide. This was also not necessary (UNLESS I intended to wear thick socks, which I do not). So I ordered a 7. My expected size. They are a bit narrow. But as I’ve worn them around the house for a bit now, they feel ok- and I highly expect they will give. If I’m totally wrong about that- I’ll write back :) There was a busted stitch on the 7 wide I got, and the 7 has a funny stitch on the tongue where the stuffing might try to escape at some point. I’m not happy about that for a good brand like Columbia :( but don’t have time to return ANYMORE shoes. ... show more

I love these boots. They definitely keep your feet warm so I'm not sure how much I'll enjoy wearing them in the summer. Maybe it won't be an issue. But everything else is wonderful and I would buy them again.

Bought these because they’re waterproof and I was going to Great Britain. No time to break them in. They were super comfortable especially in cobblestone paths. And there's plenty of them. Also it came in wide which was perfect and rare. Would have given this 5 stars but along the seam on one it’s not glued shut. ... show more
