I look foolish in most hates. But in this hate I look very studly, let me assure you. Keeps the sun off my head, ears, and some of my shoulder. It fits well (medium adult men's head), color looks like what it is in the picture. It's comfortable and it is very durable.

This hat is great for boating. It doesn't blow off in the wind and when you get it wet, it dries quickly. Also, it is very light weight and comfortable. It breaths well, so your head doesn't get sweaty. You can fold it up and store it in a bag or tight spaces.

Great hat overall. Really nice lightweight material. Only thing keeping it from a 5 star is the mesh coloring. It is off-white compared to bright white everywhere else on the hat, which makes the mesh appear dirty.

I don't love wearing hats in the summer, mostly because I get too hot. But I need to wear a hat for the sun protection. I was looking for a hat that was cute, offered good SPF, was washable and breathable. This hat checks all the boxes. In addition, it has both an adjustable headband and a chin strap so that I can keep it on when canoeing. My only (minor) complaint is that it is really difficult to tell the color from the images on the website. The color I chose the first time (fossil) turned out to be more of a taupe than the bleached bone I was looking for.
