They’re not anything special, but they get the job done! I wouldn’t suggest putting anything super heavy in them, as they’re not super, super sturdy when carrying them. I’m only using them for my daughter’s birthday party for prepackaged snacks, so that’s not an issue for us. They remind me of the trays you can purchase from the dollar store, and they reflect that quality. Overall, they’re great for organizing, and I may repurpose them when we’re done with the party!

I really try to not purchase plastic when I can, promise! But sometimes you just need something like this that is lightweight and easy to clean. These (8 pack Serving Tray, Serving Platter for Parties, Entertaining, Camping & Food Display, Reusable & Stackable Plastic Trays in Kitchen, Rectangular Food Platters for Cookie, Appetizer) are multifunctional. They’re also thicker than I expected so they don’t buckle or bend. They’re food safe so if you’re the family that serves a lot of people, a lot of food, on special occasions, these could be awesome as oversized plates so you can have a bit of room between your dessert and your meal. Or they could be a tray for your plate and silverware, etc. Handy if you need to throw some crackers and cheese, or veggies out, or cookies out on the table. I can’t say I checked the listing for this, but I wouldn’t use these for anything warm/hot personally. Personally, I use trays like this for craft projects. Easy clean up for marker projects or paints. High sides make it nice for jewelry making, or jewelry cleaning. Good size for setting up individual craft stations if you’re working with multiple people. I will say that $27 for 8 of them is a bit pricy to me, but that depends on the style you purchase I guess.

I used to have a set of white plastic catering trays which had endless utility in my art studio. I used them to hold small tools for drafting and sewing so that I could easily move them from one part of the table to the other, or clear the table just by moving the tray. Same with tools and supplies for painting, drawing, and paper cutting. These new trays are so much better than the ones I had previously! They are much more flexible and sturdy, where the other ones were brittle and cracked easily. These are a great size, not too big, but big enough for rulers, french curves, and pens, pencils, erasers, and hole punches. These don't have that disposable, single use feeling. They will last a long time, they are a huge improvement over what I had before. I missed the trays I had before and am thrilled with these as an upgraded replacement. They have deep sides to keep items from rolling off and are lightweight but still strong. They take up a limited amount of space on the table while still doing their job with flying colors. This could easily become a standard household item for appetizer and dessert trays for parties, for any kind of art and craft activity, for sorting and organizing papers and mail, basically any kind of kitchen or home project could find these trays handy.
