Overall, these are really good gloves. They do run a bit large—I normally wear a medium, but a small would have fit me better. Once on, though, they’re comfortable and not bulky. I love Columbia’s Omni-Heat collection because it keeps me warm without feeling heavy or restrictive. I have sensory issues with clothing, and these gloves are great in that regard—lightweight, flexible, and easy to wear. They’re solid for short-term winter exposure, which is exactly what I need. I mostly use them for starting my vehicle, brushing snow off, and taking my dogs outside, and for that purpose they work great. They keep my hands warm during quick outdoor tasks. In extreme cold with windchills around -42 to -50 degrees, they didn’t perform as well—but that’s expected, and I don’t believe they’re rated for temperatures that low anyway. I also noticed that if my hands are already very cold when I put them on, it takes a little while for them to warm up since the gloves rely on body heat. Outside of those limitations, they’re a great everyday winter glove if you want warmth without bulk and don’t plan on being outside for long periods of time. ... show more

I love them not bulky but perfect for being out and about. Very comfortable and the fit was perfect. They keep my hands warm the whole day while visiting in Europe. And the most important thing is that they aren’t expensive.

I have recess duty at the school I work at. My husband bought me one of the long warm jackets in the prettiest colors for my birthday. I decided to buy the gloves so they matched and looked nice together. Our school goes outside if it’s 1+ unwanted something warm. There is nothing warm about these gloves. My fingers were red and tingly by the time I got back inside and I only have a fifteen minute afternoon recess. I don’t know if they are just a flook and somethings caused them not to work correctly or what but they are not warm at all. Then I find out that Columbia doesn’t do returns on their merchandise once tags are removed. That’s very sad as I was going to switch/return for another glove that they make that was more expensive and hopefully worked better. Inwill not buy from Columbia again for this very reason.
