I usually wear a regular 12 in boots but needed to get wide size for these, so I would say they run narrow in the toe box for a boot. That being said I liked the feel of them and immediately ordered the wide. I have been wearing my work boots on hikes and they are super sturdy, comfy, waterproof...but too heavy for long hikes. For how solid these feel they are extremely light. Good traction on wet surfaces. The heel design doesn't stick out but has a nice rocker to it and makes for a smooth, quiet step. So far very good, I'll update once I have a chance to walk through a few streams *water-resistance was very good, after stepping/standing in water almost to top of shoes a few times my socks got slightly damp ... show more

I bought these for my husband for work. They are true to size and lightweight. The quality is good. He does landscaping AKA hard-scraping work. When they got wet they dried fairly quickly. He said they’re comfy and were good for work, BUT after only 4 months they started to smell really bad. Like a dead animal died inside. OBVIOUSLY I know if you sweat while working, your shoes will eventually probably smell. BUT his other work boots he’s had for a year don’t smell. So that’s why I’m giving this a 4 star rating. ... show more

These boots are very comfortable and well made. I have been wearing them while hunting in Northern California in rainy conditions and my feet were warm and dry. Great boots! I’m buying another pair.

I have arthritis in my feed along with some neuropathy. Walking any distance was painful. I bought several pair of shoes looking for some that I could walk the dogs in and not have a painful experience. These ended my search.
