  • Great for the mountains
Color: Mountain Blue/Collegiate Navy Size: XX-Large
I wore this coat in -6F temps and stayed warm. I had 2 layers underneath the coat, but spent 2 hours outside and never got cold.

  • Great lightweight, but very warm coat.
Color: Black Size: Medium
Warm, light weight, and great for kids going too and from school, walking on campus, and to practice and back in the cold winter months. We live where it is 90+ degrees in the summer and 0 to -10 (sometimes colder) in the windy, snowy winter. This coat keeps us and the teens warm without being bulky for driving, waering backpacks, or walking outside. The coat also blocks the wind very well. Layer with a sweatshirt and you might even feel hot at times if you are moving around outdoors, playing or shoveling snow. Same if indoors shopping/waiting in line too long while the coat is still on - you will get hot. The coat still looks nice/professional for when needed for nicer outings, business meetings, etc., too. My daughter has had hers for 4 years, mine for 3 and son just upgraded from child to adult size. All have held up well, still look nice, and keep us warm all winter long. ... show more

  • Another quality product by Columbia
Color: Dark Stone/Black/Delta Size: Large
The Powder Lite ll active jacket from Columbia is a very good and high quality product that we can expect from the company, Columbia have been on the market for many, many years now and over the last few decades I have bought a big number of jackets, pants, shirts, vests, shoes and various other equipment for skiing and active-wear, and I have to say that have rarely been disappointed with the quality, fit and finish. There is no difference here with this jacket, as soon as you take it out of the package, you will immediately notice the quality and craftsmanship applied here, the zippers are very good and high quality Ideal made, the Omni Shield and Omni Heat technologies are present (which by the way I have on two other jackets and I am more than pleased with the performance of both) and there are seven different color combinations to choose from. The size I ordered was L and for my body type, I am 5.10'' and about 185Lbs, the jacket is slightly on the larger size, now obviously if you live in a very cold environment and decide to layer under the jacket, the fit will be perfect, but in my case I don't live in a very cold state and normally would wear just a t-shirt underneath, so a more proper fit would have been size M, so keep that in mind when ordering, do you like more loose fit or more one to one fit. The jacket features a non-removable hood, which I personally prefer and in addition to the two outside, zip up pockets, there are two large inside pockets as well. When it comes to insulation, Columbia are using their Thermarator insulation and their are claiming that is performing better than down, I can tell you right away that this is just a marketing trick, nothing performs better than genuine down, more and more companies are moving to synthetics simply to save money on production while keeping the same price, ultimately creating more profit for them, so yeah down jackets cost a lot more and are the real performer when it comes to cold and lightweight. I think the only major negative, for most people, would be the price of the jacket, I think at the asking retail price of $130 you will probably be better waiting for deep holiday discounts or going to the Columbia outlet stores and finding it there for half of the price. Overall, a great jacket by Columbia, with a lot of modern day features, it is comfortable, stylish and will keep you warm. ... show more

Just as good as the last one

  • Zipper broke after return period expired
Color: Safari/Greenscape Size: X-Large
The zipper for one of the pockets just broke after it got stuck on the fabric on the inside. The fabric gets caught in the plastic zipper teeth and jams pretty hard. I would not buy this jacket until they address this problem. It ruined the jacket.

Color: Black Size: Large
I love Columbia jackets. They fit so well. This is so lightweight but so warm it’s all I’ll need this winter.

  • Well Made, Durable, Soft & Comfortable, Very Warm
Color: City Grey/Shark Size: Large
This jacket offers an exceptional blend of warmth, comfort, and mobility, making it an ideal choice for cold weather. Unlike bulkier winter coats that can feel restrictive, this jacket provides ample insulation without hindering movement. The fabric is soft and comfortable against the skin, and the full-zip design allows for easy on and off, which is a personal preference I appreciate. The fit is excellent for my 5'6", 148 lbs frame, and the jacket is easy to care for. The construction quality appears to be very good, with strong stitching and durable materials that inspire confidence in its longevity. Overall, this jacket presents a compelling combination of warmth, comfort, and style at an attractive price point. Its versatility and ease of maintenance make it a valuable asset for navigating the colder months. ... show more
