This was purchased as a gift to someone who is 5’-3” about 140 pounds with belly area of about 38” circumference. I saw another buyer who mentioned these were larger, therefore instead of always buying medium, I bought small. The color chosen was collegiate Navy/Dark Mountain. Its beautiful with soft dark navy sherpa on the hood, back and chest interior. Not on the interior sleeves. The interior of sleeves have the same material as the outer layer so its easy to put arms through. Arms slip in easily and the best part is the jacket doesn't ride up when raising arms into the air. And the sleeves are not paper thin. It has what feels like a thin layer of cotton between interior and exterior. Sleeves are a bit long for a 5’-3” person, but there is hook and loop aka velcro on wrist area to make wrist area smaller if needed. That way the sleeve doesn't droop down covering the hand. No interior pockets but outside pocket on either side have zipper which is great to keep things from falling out. No odd smell to this jacket. Made in Vietnam. Great purchase. Been watching this over 1 year but price did not go down. I decided to buy it. No regrets. It looks like very good quality and will serve its purpose on cold windy days. Not a thick jacket, but at least thicker than a paper thin windbreaker. The price tag on the jacket says $80, so I think I got a deal!

This is basically an insulated rain jacket, which is perfect for winter in the south. I would buy again! It has plenty of room to layer under it.

For the most part, the jacket is fine and works well in wet weather as long as it's not too cold. The jacket is a bit on the thinner side so don't expect it to keep you warm without the right layering. I do recommend this jacket if your main purpose is to help keep you dry. My main issue with the jacket is its sizing; it seems to run large or is intentionally designed to be roomy. The sleeves have wide openings, which means you'll likely need to use the closures, as I can easily pass my hands through the sleeves—even while wearing thick ski gloves. Additionally, the length is longer than I’d prefer, hanging below my butt, and the interior feels quite spacious overall. I typically wear a medium, which was recommended and what I ordered, but the jacket feels more like a large to me. I would probably get a better fit if I sized down to a small. Based on my experience, I recommend sizing down if you decide to purchase this item. Update: Having worn this jacket several times now my original assessments stand but I'd like to add that this jacket needs more pockets. It has no interior pocket or any other pockets other than the two hand pockets. I don't really need another external pocket but I would have liked to have at least 1 interior pocket or even 2, one specially made to keep electronic devices dry.

I struggled to find a nice spring/fall jacket. I tried many and this one is definitely my favorite until now. I wear small and the fit is almost perfect.
