These are my go-to shirts for sunny not-too-hot days And for working out at the gym. They seem to block the sun very well. They can feel hot on warm days, but sweat dries quickly, they provide good sun protection, and they come clean fairly easily. They run one one size big So if you are a large in other shirts, I would buy a medium in this one. If you like this kind of shirts, I would also check out similar ones by Magellan for fishing. They are about 1/3 the price but have a nice range of colors. For comparison, they seem to run a size too small. If you were a large buy an extra large in those.

This shirt is great. It has been through several washes now and is holding up well. The best thing I like about it, other than sun protection, is that it feels Cool. I don't feel sweaty when wearing it. The sizing does run large so you may want to order a size smaller than you customarily wear.

Bought this for a trip to Cozumel, Mexico, where most sunscreen is illegal (it's harmful to the reefs/marine life). I'm a pasty guy who burns easily, but with a couple of these sun shirts, combined with an SPF hat with neck guard, I never had to use sunscreen the whole trip unless I wanted to, despite being out in the sun swimming/scuba diving off of boats the entire time. Went home without getting sunburned once. For when you're out of the water and in the sun, I'd honestly consider this safer than sunscreen, when combined with the right headwear. Not to mention that sunscreen is just not a great experience. You get back to your place and you're all covered in greasy oil and want to shower immediately. With these, you don't have to deal with any of that. The material is comfortable/breathable, you don't feel overly sweaty (at least not any more than you would in a comparable t-shirt or whatever). Definitely get this if you plan to be in the sun and can't, or don't want to, use sunscreen. The protective hat with neck guard is very important as well, so don't forget that.

Overall it’s a good product. It does the job of offering sun protection. My only complaint about it, the martial is too thick, so it gets hot under the sun and not as breathy as Nike dry fit or under armor. But on the other hand, it offers better mosquito protection because of its thickness. That’s why I am rating it at 4 stars.

I listened to the other reviews and ordered down a size, and it was still a bit large and loose. However, this was welcome in the desert. Very useful for staying cool in the hot sun, and I will be buying more soon.
