These boots are a bargain for how long they've lasted me, 4 years and counting, with no issues. I've warn them in the snow when it was 20⁰, during a hike in Colorado when it was in the 80's, as a rain boat when walking and even to ride my motorcycle. Used them in the Grand Canyon as well as hiking around our neighborhood and I am very happy with these. Nice arch support and well made boots. I was really impressed by the soft leather, I think is leather, and quality construction. The color speckles on the tread you see in the picture are thankfully not noticeable. After a few 2-5 mile hikes I got these boots broken in. I walked in some shallow puddles and wet grass in a field bog and my feet stayed dry. It's nice they threw in an extra lace too. Some cons are these boots are well insulated almost like snow boots and might be a little to warm in the summer and I hiked about 10 miles and these boots felt a little hard in the toes. The boots are very light and comfortable for the most part which is quite a feat because it's always a challenge to find shoes that fit my narrow feet. I only paid $60 for these Columbia boots, which was quite a bargain. ... show more
