I am typically size 11 wide and I am wearing a size 13 in this shoe. I really do like the style and the comfort it provides. Just be careful on what you order.

I always read the reviews and even Amazon recommended I order same size I wear. They are tight fit at size 10 - no toe wiggle room. I compared them to half dozen other pairs of shoes and hiking shoes. All are slightly larger than this show at size 10. RECOMMEND ordering 1/2 size up. While these are, hands down, the best mid boot I've ever put on, I made the mistake of following Amazon's suggestions that other buyers of my particular body size found 11.5 to be a better fit and I should get those. Lo and behold, my toes begin to pain me after just over a week and it took me another week to figure out the boots were too small. Used a bit so I couldn't send them back, spent another $100 to purchase the size 12 that I know will fit me. Best mod boot I have ever used, I dare say they're better than my full boot Columbia winter wear. This mid boot keeps my feet warmer than the full winter boots, same company too! I cannot drive a car with the full boot on but I can do pretty much anything with this mid boot on. They are as waterproof as expected and I just tromp around without even looking where I'm going anymore, I just plow through it with these boots. ... show more

I bought these for a 2 month excursion into the woods. But breaking them in now at work. The first day I wore ankle socks, normally I wear wool crews in boots since I am in a cooler (31⁰F) or freezer (<0⁰F). My feet stayed warm, didn't sweat too much, and when I left my feet were dry and not sweaty. I've worn thick wool socks, medium weight wool socks, and regular work socks, as well as athletic socks. Just need to tighten up laces depending on the socks I wear in them. Normally I wear 10.5 in men's (US measurements) in most shoes, but these I got in 11s. They fit nice and are comfortable, not water proof but highly water resistant in my experience. ... show more
