They feel good and I'll be hiking in them this weekend. Potential problem on the right shoe is that the metal grommet on the outside/right side of the shoe is loose. If this comes out then the shoelace will tear the leather destroy the shoe.

Shoes fit as expected for my 10.5 med. width foot. I waited 3 months to review these and they are waterproof. Also very comfortable - like walking on two clouds, yet sturdy and supportive. Light weight and pretty supportive. The insoles were kind of hard and created friction against the soles of my feet even while wearing good socks. I got Dr. Scholl's Work Massaging Gel inserts and they did the trick.

We are not a big hiking family but went to Alaska for vacation and did some hiking around denali national park. These shoes serves the purpose and are pretty much comfortable. It is water resistance but not water proof. I was crossing a small stream of water and when I put feet on a rock, this shoe slipped and went into the water for a second.
