I bought these to serve as 'winter shoes' since I do a lot of walking outside, and these are COMFY shoes. I swear I felt the tension melt from my feet the first time I put these on, which is weird, but that's really how it felt. Maybe my old winter shoes were just that worn out. Anyway, this fits snugly for someone like me with wider-than-usual feet, and they keep my feet relatively warm (but they are not 100% water tight, so below-zero days are probably better with winter boots). I read the reviews on about a dozen hiking shoes before taking a chance on these. I'm so glad I did. I hike on dusty, rocky, desert trails and these shoes are great! They're the most comfortable hiking shoes I've ever owned. Very supportive as well. I've only had them out about 4 or 5 times but I couldn't be more impressed. As long as they hold up, I got a fantastic buy. The cost me $70. My last pair, Brooks, cost $130. These feel better than the Brooks. Hope they last! ... show more
