  • AWESOME SHORTS!
Color: Vivid Blue Size: Medium/6" Inseam
I purchased these shorts for my husband to wear out fishing and on the boat and they’re perfect! They’re a great length and the color is stunning! I have washed them over and over and they’ve held up great! They still look brand new! They’re high quality, thick and durable fabric. The zipper on the back is perfect for keeping items safe! ... show more

  • Good fishing and water shorts
Color: Beet Size: Large/6" Inseam
These are comfortable and light weight and great for the beach or fishing if you plan to wade or get wet. They dry quickly and are cool in the heat. This is my second pair because I liked the first pair so much I decided to get another pair. I didn't get them for working out and don't think they would be that great for a work out, but they have been good for camping, the beach and fishing. ... show more

  • Most comfortable shorts I own
Color: Fossil Size: Large/6" Inseam
These are the comfortable shorts I own. I own the in several different colors. They look good for a day golfing or can be dressed down for casual use. The pockets are great but I wish it had two rear pockets. I have had a couple pairs of these shorts for years and they hold up great and are very durable. They are thin enough to be cool on the hottest weather but they don't wear out. Very breathable. ... show more

  • Durable, Light Weight, Comfortable
Color: Carbon Size: Medium/6" Inseam
I live in Hawaii and have two favorite shorts now. One is light weight, thin, and not suitable for outdoor work/going out. The other is this Columbia Men's Backcast III water shorts (not the Big version). They have a liner, which I routinely remove before wearing. They are made of a durable, light-weight, reasonably good-looking nylon, and they hold up very well to my yard work, wood working, and trips to Costco, diving, etc. They have a drawstring. After a few years, these lose the elasticity in their waist, so I leave the drawstring in place so that I can continue to wear these for 'dirty' jobs such as painting and wood working. By then, the color is faded, and the elastic shot, but they work well enough for painting, wood working, etc. Love them! (I own 9 pair of these, if you need more convincing to buy them!) ... show more

  • Comfortable, light & durable
Color: Cool Grey Size: X-Large/8" Inseam
I love these shorts! They look nice for casual wear and are also great for a day of fishing. I love the built-in mesh brief which alleviates the need for underwear and dries quickly.

  • Great for hot days
Color: City Grey Size: Medium/6" Inseam
I was torn between splurging the extra 30+ (!) dollars to upgrade to patagonia baggies, but decided against it and am completely satisfied nontheless. It took a few tries to get the right size, though: I'm 6'2, 205lbs and usually buy a 32 waist but with athletic shorts and the like the often have to size up. I strongly advise against sizing up, the mediums fit perfectly on me and the 6'' inseam is a nice length to get those cooling breezes wafting up into the nether regions. Though they are marketed as "water shorts" which I take to mean a fancy word for "swin suit" I just wear them as normal shorts. I cut out the inner lining and wear them with boxers on hot days, they don't get sweaty or worn out like cotton shorts do and are nice and lightweight without feeling too flimsy. My only complaint is that the pockets are a bit too big in that if I put something too heavy (i.e. phone or keys + headphones case) they get mighty close to peeking out underneath the bottom of the shorts and really have no business being that large to begin with. Zipper pocket on the back means I can keep my wallet back there and have it feel secure, too which is a ncie plus. Do note that these shorts are a little on the baggy side, which actually I prefer because I have quads on the larger side from squats and these allow for plenty of movement. I recently decided to buy a few more pairs based on how much I liked my first and these are almost certainly going to be my go-to summer legwear for quite a while. ... show more
