Plenty of file surface area, easy to hold onto with full size handle, & the storage bag is icing on the cake. The file surface is covered with a higher # of individual filing bumps that are closer together than other similar foot files I’ve used. The foot file smoothes skin quickly & easily. I loved how easy to use it was and comfortable as well. I was worried it may be too rough but it did not hurt or damage my skin at all! My feet looked like I had just left the salon! This is going to save me a lot of money on pedicures in the future!

This file is more of a rasp. It removes calus and dead skin fast. It is very sharp and care is needed when used. It cuts forward and back so you can take a large amount off in a short time. But like the title of this review says it removed ball of foot pain first use. There are only two downsides I can see It’s very very sharp if that is a downside and it’s kind big for small areas. Have a vacuum around when used the filings are very small. I can not address longevity as I have only used the tool a few times. Buy some pretty heavy ball of foot pain went away and has stayed away. Wow, this works better then I expected. So after what I thought was athletes foot was not clearing up I went to my dermatologist. She says that's not athletes foot thats why the creams are not working. She said I had foot eczema. Didn't even know that was a thing. Lab testing showed she was correct. The steroid cream was working ok but not healing my feet just soothing and helping the outer layers. To be fair, my doctor said to let the skin come off on its own and not encourage it. However, I was tired of my crusty scaly skin and bought this. It works great. You have to be very gentle with it. It is very sharp. I was able to do about 70% of my feet. Some areas that I glided over it was trying to pull too much off at once and I was trying to avoid any deep skin cuts or tears of large scale pieces. I feel like my feet were much smoother after using. I also feel it helps my steroid creams to get absorbed better by the healthier not yet scaled over layers of skin. I'm hoping this will help cure the problem. On my off weeks of the steroid creams I feel the lotions are also better absorbed after a shaving as well. The shavings come off powdery so I would use in the bathtub or put your feet over a towel so you can rinse off the foot dust that comes off your feet. ... show more

Working really well, once I got hang of it. Leaves feet smooth, got rid of calluses. I was a little too rough first two times and ended up with bunch of red looking cuts on feet - which took several days to go away. So you do need to be gentle using this tool.

first off, huge, like a kitchen cheese grater. won't twist or flex, nice sized handle. should be easy to clean. tried dry, not too aggressive. usually use after shower when feet hydrated, should work great. handy travel sock, bet gets tagged by TSA. better do prep at home, leave at domicile I've used it now. updated review. wow it takes off the dead skin easily, cleans up quickly and acts like a cabbage shredder, got to be careful. large size means it's quick to cover bottom of foot. great price point ... show more
