The adhesive backing has a micro air-release pattern that expels air bubbles without needing wet application. Gentle heat from a heat gun can heal scratches on the wrap, a feature not found in other films. ColorFusion uses a surface-safe, heat-activated, removable adhesive that won’t damage your car’s top-coats. The patented ULTRA-FINISH formula magnifies every imperfection, making prep and installation more challenging. Tips for the best finish include using a clay bar for added surface clarity and applying the film while holding excess material off the surface to avoid trapped air and distortions. If bubbles occur, press them softly or puncture to release air. Specifications: thickness of 7.5 mils, dry application, Nano Air-release, Ultra-Finish UV topcoat, and enhanced self-healing finish. The adhesive is acrylic-based, repositionable, and pressure-sensitive, with a durability that is twice the lifespan of other automotive vinyl wraps. For wet application, lightly mist the surface and dry off 1-2" from the edges for better adhesion. Areas needing stretch can be left dry for better tack.
