I'm not exactly a cologne connoisseur or anything, but I have a little bit of experience with the scent game and know what I think subjectively smells good. I would say this is a less refined scent, more for beginners like teenagers or young people who are just getting into scents. It has a warm sandalwood smell with a hint of citrus and vanilla that isn't super obnoxious or anything but is just kind of basic. It kind of reminds me "Preferred Stock" cologne I would wear for church and special occasions as a young boy, although not quite as obnoxious as Preferred Stock, as it tends to have developed a bit of a reputation over the years. It is not the type of scent you can smell from 20 feet away so it won't annoy your whole office, but in close proximity most people will probably be able to smell it on you. The longevity of the scent is effective and lingers for quite some time, and I can still smell it on my shirt after a full day at work after just a couple sprays in the morning. Overall a decent and basic everyday scent and a great value for the money, but it's not super sophisticated nor is it going to blow anyone away or have girls swooning at your feet or anything.

Scent is what to expect for price .. definitely not something I'd wear, it smells very cheap and sharp without any soft notes.. very soapy.. but not the good smelling stuff.. but maybe it smells good to someone else.

This cologne wasn't what I hoped for. I got it because I wanted something I could keep in the car for freshening up. The presentation is one of the first things that threw me off. I hate the way it looks. The shape is kind of cute/interesting, but it looks like a hand sanitizer bottle. The label design feels rushed and cheap, with an odd string of letters across the front. Even if the scent had been amazing, I still wouldn’t consider gifting this to anyone. It looks weird spraying it on yourself because others will think it's hand sanitizer. The fragrance itself opens with a sharp citrus note. It smells so much like cleaner because the lemon is overly acidic, and the pepper underneath it feels synthetic and plasticky. I wouldn't say it's offensive, but it's definitely jarring and weird. As it settles, it does lean a little more into the "amber wood" territory it promises, but I wasn't impressed. It smells like a restroom air freshener. In terms of performance, I guess it's not bad in that the staying power is surprisingly decent. For such a low price point, I expected it to vanish within the hour, but I could still catch faint traces of it later in the day. However, the longevity doesn’t necessarily make up for the quality of the scent. It sticks around, sure, but I'd rather it didn't. There’s also a slight oiliness to it. It left a weird residue on my skin so I washed it off. I didn’t go in expecting luxury, but even within budget colognes, this one isn't very good. You’re not getting much value here. 45ml is a good travel size amount, but at this price, I’d rather have a bit more volume or something better designed. Ultimately, it’s not something I actually want. It's a scent you can absolutely do better for under $15.
