Outstanding product!! Really, just a little goes a long way. The finish on the vehicle is terrific and it creates a very friction free surface. One can will last a very very long time. Hydrophobic as water just runs off the surface. After the surface dries, just a quick buff with a microfiber towel and the surface is as slick and shiny as if you just waxed it. This wax arrived late yesterday as promised. I was concerned because the can was slightly dented and wax residue was apparent around the can. The can seemed to be solid and when I scraped off the residue I couldn’t find any breaches. I went out before sunrise today to open the can and wax a freshly prepared car. The wax seemed fine when the can was opened. It went on the vehicle as it should in approximately 68°F temperature. After a light hand buffing the car looked “show ready”, and I’m a rank amateur. This product exceeded my best hope. Pleasant smell although I wouldn’t use it in bear country. Very satisfied!

I’m very much an amateur when it comes to detailing vehicles. Last year I bought a 2016 4Runner deep red color that was a rental. The paint looked well worn for a 2 year old vehicle that had been washed only. I didn’t wax it until this past weekend. After some research I decided on this product. I also live on a dirt road. My truck sees a lot of highway mileage. I wanted a wax that would keep road dirt and grime off my truck. Hands down the best wax I’ve used. I’m sure there is an advantage to this wax contains both polymer and Carnauba. Folks who know a lot more about detailing could tell you more about the differences. What I read in my research was that polymer in wax makes the coating last longer. Don’t let the fact that it’s not a soft solid or liquid scare you away. This stiff it hard like shoe polish. It works great and is easy to apply. I applied and buffed once all around the truck. Then I applied one more coat lightly and went over the truck again with my air powered buffer. Amazing what a difference the second coat made. I can’t comment on the durability of the wax but it seems like a great product. USA made as well. The tin it comes in looks old school and amazing at the same time Some “pro” tips: Use a microfiber sponge to apply and don’t use too much. I did a small circular motion with a bit of pressure. Do one body panel at a time. Apply, let dry then buff. Don’t let it dry too much. It’s hard to get off. Easier to do a 1 min dry time then buff off. Get an orbital buffer. It’ll shine your vehicle better. They’re pretty cheap and effective. If you get some on black plastic trim pieces wipe it off immediately. Use a clean dry microfiber cloth. It’ll all run out just don’t let it dry.

Good wax! It's easy to apply and remove, but that means it won't protect as long as a thicker paste wax. It has a smell, but I kind of like it. It gives a nice shine and the tin should last a while. Very good!

I am meticulous about my vehicles. Living in California with the sunny weather, I wash at least once a week and wax every other week. Over the years I have tried dozen of different waxes. Some are good (easy to apply, easy removal and lasts), others are decent (goes medium and a medium effort to remove and questionable longevity) and many are just bad (difficult to apply and difficult to remove and will wash off with one car wash). People have been telling me about Collinite 476 for years, claiming it's so easy to apply and remove, gives the car a nice slick shine and lasts. Applied for the first time the other day and will say I am impressed. Very easy application (almost like wiping on a soft butter), hazes quick and 1 or 2 passes to wipe off. I was able to do the entire vehicle in 30 minutes. The finish has a wet slick feel, the paint looks a little darker than usual and best of all, the can doesn't even look used. I waxed an entire mid size SUV and the can of wax looks brand new still. Looks like I have found my new go to. Give Collinite 476 a try, you won't be disappointed.

There is a lot of hype in the wax and sealant world, with everyone claiming their product is the best thing since sliced bread and superior to everyone else. In reality, some products just work with minimal fuss and reasonable cost. Collinite 476s is one of those products. It is a bit old school in a good way, meaning you are going to have to get intimate with your car's panels and put in a little effort. I like to start with a strip wash, clay bar, and then a coating of 476s. This helps it bond to the paint, and you can feel it through the applicator as you apply. Wait a bit, but not too long, and buff it off. The result is long lasting even in poor conditions, and a beautiful rich shine. Keep in mind this isn't the dipped-in-glass look of a ceramic coating, but rather a warm inviting glow. There is simply no reason to spend more money or effort on a wax product, this stuff is as good as it gets.
