I bought this explicitly for gardening…moving soil, mulch, planting, etc….and it perfect. When I received the package, there was some light assembly required (attaching wheels), but very easy. The feature that sets this cart apart from all the others I've owned and used is its compact size when folded. It folds into a square rather than a rectangle when viewed from the top. When folded, this cart has a footprint of just 8" x 9". Very compact and at 17 pounds, is significantly lighter than typical folding carts that weigh 22 pounds or more. Dimensions when opened are 39.8"D x 18.5"W x 34.6"H which is 3 to 4 inches longer and 1 to 2 inches narrower than most folding carts. This cart is easy to setup and collapse. It's also very easy to steer and rolls well. The tires are narrower than I would like which makes it more difficult to roll on soft ground, grass and sand. The handle has just one height adjustment. Multiple height adjustments would be better to accommodate people of differing heights but that's not a significant shortcoming. It's not perfect but this cart is the best I've used. My review is unbiased and based solely on my personal observation and use. After struggling to use a similar wagon at the beach, I decided to try this one that advertises it can be pulled through sand. I’m a bit skeptical because typically the tires need to be much wider to gain traction along the soft sandy beach terrain. We’ll be using this at the beach in about a month, so I’ll update my review once we put it to the real world test. Until then, I’m very pleased with all of the wagon features. Assembly for use is easy, collapsing it is simple, and getting it back into the storage bag isn’t cumbersome. Because the wagon is easy to travel with, it’s uses are very versatile. UPDATE: we brought this wagon on a beach vacation and found that it worked great through the sand. We were skeptical because the tires are slender, but their design actually allowed the sand to sift through the openings in the wheels and push away from the tires….making it glide through sand rather nicely. We loaded it with everything too….umbrella, two chairs, loaded beach bag (books, water, and food), towels, and blanket. My husband said that his heels didn’t hit the wagon while he was pulling, which is a big plus. This wagon is definitely a cut above the rest. Highly recommend. ... show more

Wow! This wagon is big. I know it gave the dimensions, but I have a hard time visualizing based on numbers. This is big. Like two banker boxes would easily fit inside with room to spare around the edges. I plan to take it to the farmers' market, but I'll have a hard time filling it! That said, it is well-made and a reasonable value for the price. I had no trouble setting it up and snapping on the wheels. The fabric is really sturdy, the frame is good and solid, and the wheels are big and chunky. It is built to last. This would be best if you are looking for something to coral and move a bunch of gear. I think it would be good for team sports equipment, lots of toys, a big picnic, or the like. I now plan to use it for road trips to haul stuff from the car to cabin. I will try it at the farmers' market but it might be too big and get in the way. Oh, one more thing. It is big when in use, but folds up pretty small. You just collapse the whole thing and then use the removable pad inside to wrap around the collapsed cart and close with the attached velcro straps. I have wanted one of these for almost two decades, ever since my first flower show when everyone else had a utility wagon for carting around their plant purchases. Then I found out how much they cost and it never quite seemed like I could pull the trigger, so I did a lot of comparison window shopping instead. This one hits all the marks--good color, fully flat bottom, terrain wheels, big, easy turn, double attachment point handle. Also, it folds, and NOT the way a stroller folds (now possible to fit it in a trunk but still enormous and cumbersome). This guy folds right up by pulling the middle once you take the base out, and then the base wraps around the whole thing and straps closed with built in straps (hidden when the wagon is in use). When closed, the middle pull is at the top, making an easy hanging/carrying handle. 10/10 for design. I haven't taken it to the beach yet (ultimate test, can it pull over sand?), but if it doesn't do that well when we test it out there (next summer), I will come back and say so. This is a very practical thing to have around the house! Without much time or trouble, you can pull this out, unfold it, and have a large cart for hauling. It said it was sturdy and meant for heavy loads, so I hopped in it - and sure enough, it held a normal-sized adult human just fine and felt quite stable.
