  • Easy to assemble
Color: Natural
What a solid chair this is. No wobble, Easy to get out of and they seem able to withstand the weather. And for the price, how can you go wrong.

  • Comfortable and easy to assemble
Color: Natural
Assembled this morning in about 15 minutes using the provided tools. The chair is comfortable and sturdy, yet light enough to be easy to fold/move. Will likely require sealing to maintain but pleased with the quality. Recommended - good deal for the price!

  • Very nice chair - make sure to coat it for weatherproofing
Color: Natural
This is a nice Adirondack Chair and is great around the fire pit. The collapsable capacity of the chair is nice, and requires proper placement of the plastic washers when installing for fluid movement. The chair is pretty well built as far as materials, but as with all of these chairs, some of the pre-drilled holes just don't align or in a couple of places even exist. If you are using a drill to install the hardware, don't overtighten and strip the threads into the wood. If you are using this chair in an outdoor setting, I would highly recommend finding a brand of waterproofing spray you trust and coating it twice so that the wood won't rot under changing weather conditions. ... show more

  • Great chair
Color: Natural
I love this chair. It’s very comfortable and well made. I put it together myself in about 15-20 minutes. The back and seat were already together which made it really fast and easy.

  • This is now the nicest Adirondack chair that I own, by far!
Color: Natural
I have a few Adirondack chairs. They are my favorite chairs for reading outside. One was a second hand find and is ready to be painted for the second time and is just a total bear to fold up, but very comfortable, despite looking like it's getting close to retirement. The other two were recent purchases from a big box store. They have an extremely weather resistant painted finish that feels a little unpleasant against your skin when it's hot, but boy they've held their very bright color despite being left out. They can be fussy to fold and unfold - it's not smooth, and they require pegs to lock in place. I also I can't sit in them without a pillow to support my low back. So they are pretty, but not as comfortable as I'd wish. I say all of this for contrast and comparison to this chair: This chair feels silky smooth. It was so well sanded and finished! I haven't seen anything sanded that smooth in a long time. The finish does not feel like a sticky poly coat. It feels so nice against my skin that I've already decided there is no way I'm going to risk leaving it out in the yard when I'm not using it, even though the manufacturer suggests that it could be. It's going back into the summerhouse for storage. I've sat and read in this already and the back support is PERFECT. So this is now my "luxury" chair. I'm not sharing it. If my partner wants to sit in it, I'll spring for another one without hesitation. Although with the weight capacity, we could both sit in at the same time. That's amazing. I have benches and kitchen step stools that are half of that. So I put this together on the porch as soon as the mailman brought it. Let me tell you what else I love about this chair. It was NOT packed with Styrofoam and plastic bags and films! None!!! The pieces were tied down by hand and very well protected with cardboard cushioning. There was no damage from shipping to be found. They were generous with the cardboard and I suspect the function of tying the pieces down prevented scratches and unnecessary movement during shipping, which would also cut down on damage. Everything about this chair, from the packaging, the back friendly design, the incredible job sanding and finishing, the smooth movement and ease of folding and unfolding and the high weight capacity just screams "we care about doing things right". As for assembling it. The diagrams were mostly clear. Here's where I had trouble - and I'm truly nitpicking here. I used to write product documentation, so it's impossible for me to not speak up. Hopefully I can spare someone else some minor grief. At step 2, part E(support leg) is attached to the front leg of the bottom of the chair. E is this wing-like piece of wood that meets the chair leg perpendicularly and provides a foundation for the armrest. There is a slope on the top of this part. I wasn't sure which one should go to the left and which should go on the right, but mixing it up changed the direction of the slope. I took my cue from the slope of the top the leg and that seemed to be fine. They both slope in the same direction the way I chose to put it together. It would be nicer if that were made more clear in the diagram. At step three, you attach the arm to the front. A recessed hole is provided for the nut (H3) that was a bit too small on the one side and a bit loose on the other. I had no problems with any other holes or alignment. I had to support the wood and hammer the nut into the recessed hole where the fit was too tight, being exceedingly cautious not to do any damage to the wood. Getting the Allen Head Bolt (H2) to catch with the threads of the nut(H3) was a bit of a tricky job working alone. If you're working alone, go ahead to step 4 and connect the back of the arms to the back of the chair, leaving a very small amount of play. That connection isn't as fussy and this will help control some of the possible ways the arm can move while you are trying to align the nut, washer(h4) and bolt to fasten the arms to the front. Then you can go back to step four and tighten the arm to the back all the way. You're going to want to go around and tighten everything anyway when you're done to make sure nothing wiggles. I always allow things to be just a little loose in case I make a mistake and have to tear things apart. So tightening everything again is part of the work process for me anyway. But point being, nothing inconvenient happens if you do step 4 before 3 and it might make step 3 a little easier. I hope that helps when you get your chair. It's really easy to put together. I did it in extremely hot weather, alone, while getting used to new bifocals and only swore once. That's almost a miracle in my book. It's that straightforward! In summary, I love this chair. It is so well done! ... show more

  • Quality Adirondack Chair
Color: Natural
This chair is made of nice, smooth, finished wood. It is packaged well, with lots of cardboard padding, as well as secure by what look to be hand tied paper ribbon. This was more than I expected, as most items nowadays have tons of styrofoam that gets everywhere. Once unpackaged, it was fairly easy to put together, though I did encounter a bit of an issue with the front fasteners for the arms. The instructions call for a washer to be placed in between the two wood pieces, before being fastened with a bolt and sleeve nut. I could NOT get the bolt to engage in the nut with the washer in there; on either side. Finally I took the washer out, and it just barely engaged, allowing me to tighten it with the two included allen keys. After fully tightening, I realized the issue was that the sleeve nut was not fully set into the countersink hole, despite my hammering it in. I think if I go back and unscrew the bolt, I would maybe be able to slip the washer in, now that the nut is fully seated. I think this hole is just a bit too tight, and should be machined slightly larger. The rest of the installation went well, however I ended up using a ratcheting hex driver for the rear screws, and those little Allen wrenches get tedious. Not required, but certainly a help. Overall we are very happy, and would recommend this for sure! ... show more

  • Adirondack Chair is Beautifully Finished and Very Sturdy
Color: Natural
The VICTORY RELAX Collapsible Adirondack Chair has a beautiful finish and is really a pretty chair. It is a heavy chair and is exceptionally sturdy. Each individual piece of the chair used in the assembly has predrilled holes for the screws and all screws and additional parts were included in the parts boxes. Directions were very detailed and parts were labeled and shown in pictures. The larger pieces of the chair were already put together and all of the pre drilled holes matched up with the other pieces. The finish on the chair is smooth and continuous over all of the pieces. The chair is very comfortable and is easy to move due to the folding ability of the design. This Adirondack Chair is truly a wonderful addition to our deck. We will be covering it when rain is forecasted to preserve the lovely finish. ... show more
