The media could not be loaded. Great household addition! Excellent value for this product and very easy to assemble. Bought this with the intention of placing it in one are of the room which didn’t work out like I had hoped. Great thing about this product is the short side or the desk is interchangeable so I was able to try out a few different things and managed to find the perfect workspace! Doesn’t have any drawers or place to store office supplies but there’s plenty of surface area to leave out stuff or use pen holders or similar items. There is a quality control issue with the desk I received. When I started the assembly on the short part of the desk with the monitor stand I noticed the legs were not correct. It seems the holes for the monitor stand were drilled on the wrong end of one of the leg tops. This caused an issue of not being able to correctly install the leg brace that goes on the bottom of the legs for side to side stability. I got around this by using the screws that would have gone through the holes in the leg to brace against the stability wire. This made the desk much more stable than it would have been without it but still not ideal. See the attached pictures for reference. Otherwise it's a nice desk overall with plenty of desktop space without being too large. I have a dual monitor setup and there's plenty of room without looking cluttered.     • You get what you pay for....
Be prepared to drill your own holes and buy extra screws. One of the holes was too big for the screw provided so you end up sticking it in just to hold it in place. Another part wasn't aligned. And one part was missing a hole completely.

    • Well made and great value for the price.
First of all, they recommend assembling this desk with two people. I was able to do it without an issue by myself, though assembling the corner piece would've been easier with a second person. The desk feels sturdy and well build for something that has to be assembled. The total weight of the box was just over 50 lbs so it wasn't too bad to handle. Everything inside was protected well enough that there was no damage. You can change the side of the "L", though the monitor shelf can only go on the short side. There are feet on the bottom of the main supports (legs), but they are only for leveling the desk. The height feels very comfortable for working on a computer. All in all, this is a well made shelf that was around half the cost of comparables that I found locally. A few tips: The main "legs" of this all look very similar. It is VERY important that the two with bolt holes on the top be used for the short side of the "L", otherwise you'll be taking it back apart again later. The instructions kind of show that in the photos, but it's very easy to overlook... Ask me how I know. Also, don't tighten everything down too tight until you have it all together. ... show more

I bought this desk so I could play my PC games on it, and I am very happy with the purchase. My last desk jiggled occasionally when I slid my house quickly across it, and this desk isn't having any of those issues at all! It is very sturdy, easy to assemble, and my desk didn't come with any defects of the wood or legs. I assembled it by myself and it took me about an hour and a half. My only qualm is that I expected the desk to be deeper (more desk top space) however its slightly smaller than I had imagined it. I saw the dimensions but I guess I thought it looked different in real life! Still very happy with the purchase, just make sure you check the dimensions. ... show more

The material itself is sturdy but this passed quality control. One of the top holes on A was drilled too high. Which is causing issues. Both A pieces, the smaller cross portion are bent.

    • Good desk but...
Unlike other reviews I did not have any problems with the parts or installation. Everything came packaged well, arrived quickly and no broken, bent or damaged pieces. My son assembled it alone in about 45 minutes (he is 15 and used to be the LEGO king so maybe that helped). I actually like the desk itself. My problem is that I am 5’3” and this desk is LOW. I can barely get my chair close to or under the desk. In addition, the width is AWFUL. I have two monitors and a keyboard and there is ZERO space. I have to arrange everything at an angle just to be able to type and use my mouse (I’m right handed). I have to use two screens for my job and there is no way to even rest your hands on the table when using the mouse. Due to this I have rubbed the lower part of my hand against the rim of the desk. I work 8-10 hours almost 6 days a week, so needless to say that’s not a good sign for only having the desk for 2 days. I just looked at other desk options in this price range and they all seem to have similar dimensions unfortunately. Using a monitor mount is probably not an option because this desk is also very, very thin. I don’t trust my monitors not to fall. All in all, it’s an ok desk but even at 5’3” it feels like a desk for a child. I will definitely send back if I can find something else. ... show more
