    • Great medium sized cooler
This is a nice cooler. It is bigger than a lunch box sized cooler and yet portable enough to manage by myself when full. Currently I’m using it to transport bulk perishable food club purchases back home. It takes preparation and time to “cool it down” for each trip, but it does a great job holding the cold temperature. I’ve seen some reviewers complain about the snap-lid design. It’s true, the lid will NOT stay open on its own when loading and unloading the cooler. However, there is an easy work-around: use the cooler’s big handle to prop the lid open. For those who would appreciate more detail: Start with the cooler lid shut and its large handle resting against the front side of the cooler. Next, lift the cooler lid and then hold it open with one hand. Then lift the handle with your other hand and center it over the open cooler. Now gently lower the lid onto the handle. The lid will push the handle slightly forward but will stop at some point. I found that this still allows plenty of space below the propped open lid to maneuver things in and out of the cooler. Caution: don’t bump the handle or the lid WILL snap shut on you! ... show more

I really like this cooler. It is a perfect size to travel with. I can set it on top of my suitcase and lock the handle over the handle of my luggage. I only gave it 4 stars because the lid will not stay open. I had to stick a pen through the space between the lid and wall to hold it open while loading and airing it out after use. ... show more

I wanted just a simple, medium sized cooler and this is exactly what I wanted. Nice, heavy duty cooler that does what's intended. The lid snaps closed and is secure. The handle is comfortable to hold onto and you can also use it to prop the lid open as well. We've used it for cookouts and the beach and it keeps ice from melting all day. Great replacement lunch cooler. I like that it has hinges on the lid so I can replace them if they wear out, unlike the previous Igloo cooler I had that didn’t make it one season.

It’s very reasonably priced, and of decent size and quality without being overly heavy. On a recent road trip, the cooler kept leftovers (which were a little warm going in), as well as drinks, cold for more than 6 hours, having lost only about 1/5 of the ice from one 7 lbs bag.
