Love this cooler! It’s exactly what I expected from this well known brand. I used it at a craft fair for 3 days with 80-90 degree temperatures. The ice I placed in it on day 1 was still there on day 3. I’ve used a lot if coolers but I’ve never had ice last thus long. We were in and out of it on a regular basis. The wheels seem heavy duty enough to take anywhere. We rolled it across sidewalks, asphalt and really muddy ground. It rolled well on all surfaces. It holds a lot too so there was no need to add more drinks after the first day. The telescoping handle sticks some when attempting to push it down for storage but it will collapse with a little effort. Overall it’s a great cooler that can also serve as a drink holder or seat. I used this cooler on a camping trip in middle of the hottest part of summer. It was in the shade 100% of the trip since I was pretty deep in the forest. It lasted over the weekend no problem but I kept ice in it when I got home and left it outside to test the "5 day" claim. Surprisingly, there was still a tiny bit of ice in there on day 3 but, by day four, all of the ice was completely gone. So, maybe the 5 day claim is assuming you don't ever open the cooler? I don't know, but it sure didn't last 5 days, nor even 4. Either way, I can't really complain and it worked well for our two day camping trip. The handles and wheels held up really well, even when lugging this thing (fully loaded) down a steep trail path to get to the campsite deep in the forest. I think the smaller handles would probably break after a couple more trips like this, since I did notice some heavy bending at the mounting points. I was actually surprised that the large handle didn't break on the first use going down this rugged trail but, it came close. When fully loaded, the cooler is HEAVY and the tension hits right where the handle mounts. I kept an eye on those points while lugging it up and down the hill that the path lay on and it came really close to popping out, or breaking, but didn't! Hopefully the cooler lasts a few more trips like this but, I got my money's worth I think. Thanks Coleman! ... show more

The company says this cooler keeps ice for 5 days. Maybe it will with ambient temps of 73°F or below, but that's not the case in South Texas. This cooler keeps 20# ice for, at the most, 3 days at ambient temps of 85°F-100°F, shaded. They don't say the limits of their testing on any labeling.
