I used this cooler on a camping trip in middle of the hottest part of summer. It was in the shade 100% of the trip since I was pretty deep in the forest. It lasted over the weekend no problem but I kept ice in it when I got home and left it outside to test the "5 day" claim. Surprisingly, there was still a tiny bit of ice in there on day 3 but, by day four, all of the ice was completely gone. So, maybe the 5 day claim is assuming you don't ever open the cooler? I don't know, but it sure didn't last 5 days, nor even 4. Either way, I can't really complain and it worked well for our two day camping trip. The handles and wheels held up really well, even when lugging this thing (fully loaded) down a steep trail path to get to the campsite deep in the forest. I think the smaller handles would probably break after a couple more trips like this, since I did notice some heavy bending at the mounting points. I was actually surprised that the large handle didn't break on the first use going down this rugged trail but, it came close. When fully loaded, the cooler is HEAVY and the tension hits right where the handle mounts. I kept an eye on those points while lugging it up and down the hill that the path lay on and it came really close to popping out, or breaking, but didn't! Hopefully the cooler lasts a few more trips like this but, I got my money's worth I think. Thanks Coleman!

Love how well made these coolers are. They can take a knock around too. Keeps everything cold, easy to clean and drain. I wish the wheels were slightly larger but the size still works well for rolling transport. I'm buying another soon as we need an additional cooler and I'll be buying this same one. Great quality for the money.

The cooler is good quality. Solid, easy to wheel around, and decent size for the cost. The only problem that I’ve had with it is that the lid doesn’t stay locked down. It continuously pops up, leaving a small gap between the lid and the bottom half. It leads to air exposure and things to warm/ice to melt. Could really use a latch or some better material that I conducive to staying closed/locked in place.

I purchased this because we have a larger family and needed some decent ice retention. It lasted us almost all weekend but the cooler was busy with kids going in and out so I'm sure that was most of the issue. It doesn't take away my recommendation of buying this cooler. It's a fantastic cooler and held a lot. As an example. 1 24 pack of 16 oz coors light unpacked from the box, 80 12oz water bottles, 1 32 pack of frozen burgers in the box, 18 count of hotdogs, party pack of beer brats, 36 count string cheese, 40 lbs of ice and everything was well kept frozen. With it completely filled you will need two people to lift this and even then it will be heavy I would recommend loading this prior to getting into a vehicle and then packing the vehicle after loading the cooler. To give yall an idea it was about 85 degrees. I will be keeping the cooler but for other adventures that would require more food keeping I am planning on buying a Kong cooler for that.

Wasn’t sure what was going to show up because different photos are used for the same product throughout the ordering process. I did get the cooler I ordered (62 qt with wheels) but almost cancelled when I saw that Amazon jacked up the price for prime day so they could put it “on sale” for its regular price and also seen I can go down to Walmart and pick it up same day for $2 cheaper. Whatever…The cooler itself is fine. Not Coleman’s fault that I know of.

My cooler arrived and I was excited. I opened the box and pulled out the cooler. A great dark blue color. I really like the sturdy top to act as a seat, the sturdy handles, and the big wheels. We were getting a new refrigerator and needed someplace to store food while the new one was being delivered. The only negative thing about the cooler was that it arrived damaged. One of the cupholders on the lid has a crinkle in it due to impact damage. Everything about this cooler seems really good except the shipping in the thin non-supportive cardboard box.

I don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars on a cooler that will hold ice for 7 days. 1-2 days is more than enough for my needs, which makes this cooler lighter and cheaper while giving it a larger interior capacity (for its size) than the Yeti-like peers. The handle & wheels are also great for moving it around. I’m honestly surprised there aren’t more coolers just like this one, but good for igloo for having this available.
