I bought this juicer to try and get back to healthy energy. I have used the amzchef juicer for watermelon juice so far. The juice is really tasty and hydrating. This juicer is not very noisy to disturb anyone in the house and is easy to clean. Just disassemble the front pieces and rinse with hot water is what I do. I recommend this juicer as it is convenient and sturdy,and easy to clean. The Amzchef juicer comes with instructions and a juice recipe book. Good price as well! Enjoy!

Some reviews say they chop everything up tiny but you don't need to do that. As long as it fits in the chute it seems fine. I put whole carrots in there. If you're doing things like spinach and romaine etc then it's easier to push them down with a carrot or celery rather than the tool they give you. The plunger tool just compacts it really hard and gets it stuck. It's also really easy to put the pulp back thru and it will squeeze a few more drops out. Just only do a few pieces at a time so you don't get it too messy and clog it up. Theres a reverse function for if food stops moving, you'll probably only need to do this for the last bit of food you send through since there will be nothing coming to send it forward. You just press and hold reverse for a few seconds and then go forward again to get the food moving into the filter. The whole juicing part comes off in one piece after and then it's really easy to disassemble to clean and reassemble. Once you do it once you won't forget how to do it again. It's not as fast as a centrifugal juicer of course. The centrifugal juicer I owned before was too messy and threw pulp all over the place inside the juicer and was just annoying to clean. There were too many spots the pulp would end up. The pro though is that you can make juice fast. I really don't don't the heating of the juice matters. You can put cold vegetables in a centrifuge and get cold juice out. I think they need to be heated up quite a bit more to change their composition. So of you're looking at a slow juicer for that reason maybe read up to see if that is a total scam. I'm not sure I'm just thinking rationally. For me the slow juicer was all about the cleaning and I read they produce drier pulp. They also look nice on the kitchen counter, very cultured looking :P It probably takes 5 minutes to push all the vegetables I use though. 4 big carrots, 10 celery sticks, half an apple, half a lemon, piece of ginger, a whole romaine and half a cucumber. The prep is minimal since a lot of that can go through without being cut in half first. If it fits in the chute whole I leave it as is. That amount makes about 20z of juice and then I make a broth with the pulp and store it in the freezer. It's also fairly quiet compared to the centrifugal juicer I used before. It'll probably still wake someone up though. All in all I like it a lot. I have more tips now that I've used it a bit more Some stuff will create soggy pulp like cucumbers, lemons, kiwi. Do these ones very first and hold a 1/2 measuring cup where the pulp comes out. Then you can pass the pulp through really easily and you will watch less and less pulp come out. I pass it through probably 5 times and if you're using the measuring cup it'll only take an extra couple minutes to do that. Push the pulp through gently with a carrot or celery because the plunger will compact it and get it stuck. You can use the measuring cup method to pass pulp back through as you juice stuff if you want but I find the greatest return on the stuff like cucumbers. Carrots won't give you much back, the pulp for carrots comes out pretty dry so I do the carrot very last. I dont bother passing pulp through out last because the pulp gets stuck in there and if there's nothing whole coming in after to push it through then a lot of the pulp doesn't come out. Think this is the best method that works for me

I would recommend this unit to my friends/family. My juicer came with the instruction manual. Page 3 has a decent diagram of the parts. Each part has a number that helps when you're ready to assemble the unit. Page 9 - 12 covers the assembly process. I had to go back and forth to page 3 and 9-12 to be sure I did it correctly. Page 12 description box 11 will advise to drink asap because the juice will have a degraded taste and nutrient content if exposed in the air to long. FYI, not mentioned is that I read a long time ago not to gulp down the juice. Let it collect a little saliva from your mouth before swallowing to help proper digestion. Included on page 12 description box 11 it mentions in bold letters = Do not touch the power cord with wet hands to avoid electrical shock, leakage or fire. It did come with a separate instruction card the same size of the instruction manual with actual color photos of the machine. To me it's not to good because the print is way to small to read and the photos does not really help. The instruction manual is much better for assembly instructions. The instruction manual has all kinds of information laid out in sections = Tips for Ingredients, Instructions on Selection of Fruits, ( the Selection of Fruits diagram will mention vegetables), Maintenance, Safety Index, Trouble Shooting and Warranty information. The warranty section has an email, 5 different scan things called WeChat, Facebook, VK, Line and WhatsApp. Also a warranty card to cut out with scissors = (Please fill in the table and email it within 10 days from the date of purchase. Masticating units like this are considered a Slow Juicer and it is slow. But the benefits is suppose to be less oxidation and less heat because of the auger. Centrifugal Juicers uses blades and spins much faster but it's suppose to cause heat on the extracted juice. If you're in a hurry up life style a masticating may not be for you but they are known to last longer in regards to breaking down. Centrifugal are known to break down sooner. I can say that Centrifugal can break down after a few months because I owned two. A majority of Centrifugal units cost a lot less money than Masticating units. The Masticating Juicer, AMZCHEF as stated in the instruction manual will say (page 11 Section 9) Note: Keep the machine operating for less than 10 minutes. Long time work will destroy the motor, sounds like someone overseas wrote this last sentence. Section 8 mentions any hard core, seed, skin and shell shall be removed in advance. I leave the skin on (apples = no core , no seeds to be safe), radishes, beets pretty much any thin skin fruits and vegetables. I would definitely remove skins from oranges, lemons and pineapples. I think cucumbers is a popular item to juice. Since I don't like cucumbers I would not not know skin or no skin. This unit is easy to clean for me. Don't force any parts to disassemble > Be sure and press the button on the housing - base - motor main unit to release to the Drum = (#10). My unit came with a plastic wrench #14 page 7 on my manual to remove the juice cover in a clockwise direction. The unit has an auto cutoff to prevent over heating. If that happens they recommend to let cool down for 20-30 minutes. It also has a reverse button in case the fruit/vegetable clogs the pathway. I cut everything in small pieces to fit in the feed chute but not tiny. Just read the manual to be familiar with this unit and you should be ok. To me it seems well made. I bought this unit because I believe the juice produced will be better/healthier than Centrifugal Juicers. I hope you appreciate all this information, LOL. It earned 4 stars and I gave it the 5th star hoping that it's durable. I believe it is durable and will last for a long time. Delivered well-packaged. Parts in perfect condition. Works as indicated. Easy to assemble/clean and is quiet. My only qualm is that it could be a tiny bit better at juicing. Softer fruits (peaches, etc) don't seem to get completely juiced. Also, apples clog it up a bit, but the reverse function works well. Overall, good "first juicer". Might upgrade in the future.

I like this juicer due to it's size and power. It's compact enough to leave out on the counter, but powerful enough to handle hard veggies (beets, carrots, radishes). I had tried another, more expensive, juicer and I didn't like the amount of pulp in the juice and that a lot of juice was left in the machine. This juicer does a good job and is relatively easy to clean. The screen takes a couple minutes to clean, but the rest of the parts are simple to rinse. This is the 4th juicer I've had, but my favorite so far.
