Good quality olive oil, mild in flavor and not overly peppery or spicy. It did taste a bit fruitier to me than some other olive oils I've bought before. The only thing I don't really like is the pour top. At first I didn't understand how to open it and had to message the company, but even after opening it correctly, when I put the tab back on/in it didn't go back in all the way so it's not fully resealable (at least mine wasn't)

Both extra virgin and virgin olive oil are produced without the use of chemicals, and the only real difference is that extra virgin oil has a lower acid level. This olive oil is great tasting, milder than the extra virgin I normally use. It's great for cooking, and using where you don't want to overpower the end dish. It is well packaged and comes in a nice box and tin. Importantly the tin is wrapped and sealed in plastic so you should not get any leakage during shipment. The only negative is the price.

The consistency and freshness are good, it doesn’t have a strong fruity aroma, it has a mild kick. Cold pressed retains more of the nutrients and is of higher quality. The can has a pull-out-neck dispenser, to close it, you must push the cover back in, it’s not the screw-in type. I pushed it back in, now I can’t get the spout out. Not sure how the pull out spout supposed to work.

Arrived in perfect condition. The presentation is fantastic in the antique looking tin, and likely contributed to the price premium of the product. The shelf life on mine is around two years. It is rather expensive for everyday cooking use.

Antique Ephesus Cold Pressed Virgin Olive Oil is a product of the Mediterranean Region of Ayvalik Turkey. This single source oil is presented in a sealed 33.81 oz can. It has a fresh taste and handles heat well. I use olive oil instead of butter in my cooking. This cold pressed virgin olive oil works well for both frying and baking. It is hand harvested and the can that I received has a Best Before date that is 18 months in the future.

We use a lot of olive oil and like to have both virgin olive oil and extra virgin olive oil on hand. We got this to be a primary cooking oil, when we want the enhanced taste of olive oil, and don't need an extremely high smoke point. In fact, this works great for cooking, and we've not yet gotten it to a smoky level. For me, the taste on its own is very good. I'm not the biggest connoisseur, but I would say it is equivalent to many of the extra virgin olive oils I've tasted. I know the quality levels are predetermined by the processing method and acidity level, but it's hard for me to discern the big differences. This one works for us, as a cooking oil, and sometime combining oil.
