Package arrived early and had some quirks, like the saran wrap made to protect the front is permanently stuck in the cracks, and it smells really strong of plastic, but the smell will come out 😆🤭 the zippers seem nice and sturdy and I'm overall pretty excited!

I bought two new expandable backpacks, a pink and a blue. One arrived sealed and wrapped in a plastic pouch, and the clear plastic dome on the bag still had the shrink wrap on it. Perfect condition! Then, the other one arrived... loose in the box, a little smooshed and misshapen, with a jammed zipper, the shrink wrapping ripped off and the dome all scratched up. It looked like it had clearly been used, returned, and resold without being cleaned up or repackaged :( we were obviously a little disappointed to have paid the same price for two very different conditions of this product, but we suppose they'll both see some wear as they're used, anyway lol also, be sure to air these out for a while... they have a very strong, chemically scent to them. And you'll need a craft knife to carve out all the shrink wrap from the seams, since it seems the bags were assembled with the plastic already on it (if you're concerned about a possible choking hazard for your small pets in the carrier).

Checkmate Roo. Checkmate. I win. You lose. 🤣 But really, easy to assemble & use. I’ve had it a few days now and had a hand full of different chickens in an out of this baby. We will be taking lots of random trips with this backpack in the near future!

Wouldn't fit my medium to large bunny, which was my hope. Can fit my two rats, but they will destroy it (mesh windows and the rip stop too) in short order. I'm concerned they might escape if not constantly monitored so I'd have to wear it in front. This item is about as durable as a kiddie backpack from a dollar store (minus the pony decals). The shoulder straps are not reasonably padded. Marketing/photos are deceptive. Generally, it fails to meet any reasonable standard of being made for the intended purpose. It does not deliver what is promised by the pictures. My rats demolished the collapsible water dish in minutes, otherwise I'd return for refund.

2 flaws. 1) the section on the inside makes no sense because you can't unzip it without opening the backpack. It's cool it's expandable but you can't expand it easily. 2) came with a crack in the plastic. It's small but I posted a picture.
