I returned my XL for L and it fits like a dream! The fabric is a really good quality cotton blend too, not that nasty polyester garbage a lot of cute retro dress get made from. I love the neckline and the colors. If i had one criticism, my dress, just by bad luck of the pattern repeat only has Frieda's full head and body visible in two places on the whole dress. It's still a neat floral, just a little less special when you can't find Frieda. I don't know if that's even something they can do anything about, I was just a little bummed because the one I had to return had more full Frieda faces front and center. But it looks fantastic with my Dia De la Muertos earrings nonetheless! Would definitely order more from this brand. Shipping was super quick too

I need one in every color! Background on me. I am 5’4”, hourglass figure, a fit 136 lbs, 35” bust, 26” waist, 38” hips. I ordered a small and fits perfectly. Not too tight or too loose. I would recommend this dress in every color as a basic. It does need at least a slim belt and unique shoes to break it up and looks so polished with just a few touches. Also, this dress is well priced but I would recommend it regardless of price. One thing to be aware of. The different colors come in different fabrics. The first dress I got was the dark navy and it is a perfect mix cotton, nylon and spandex. The dress is not lined but the fabric is thick enough to not see body imperfections and undergarment lines and stretches where you need it (bust, hips). Then I needed a pink one for the Barbie movie (got deep rose) and the peacock one to pair with some new Freebird shoes I got that are a unique color. Those two colors came in the polyester fabric. I was surprised when I opened the package. It’s buried vaguely in the description if you change your color choice and the scroll down to read about the fabric for each one. The fit is still good but I like that polyester fabric less as it shows more line and imperfections. For the basic colors (black, red, white, Navy, grey, light pink, etc) they all come in the nice cotton blend. I’m going to buy every last one. I dress up a lot and like to have options. Different belts, different jackets, different shoes all make them look different. The dress hits right above my knees. I didn’t buy any of the pattern dresses, but they are made of just cotton according to the description. I don’t care for the polyester ones and won’t be buying more of those colors.

OMG, I love this dress so much that I bought two more in different colors. The fabric is a cotton spandex blend, so it is stretchy enough but not too tight. It does wrinkle, but not as badly as rayon, and the wrinkles come out easily in the dryer. I got tons of compliments when I wore this dress. I will say that on the peacock blue dress I bought, the zipper stuck pretty badly, so I will return it, and Amazon is sending me another one. But I've worn the pink one and this one. They are so flattering. Update: I am heartbroken over the peacock blue dress. It is beautiful, but the 2nd one I received did the same thing as the first one. The seam at the waist isn't sewn correctly, so the zipper sticks when trying to unzip. Both dresses had the same flaw so I would give that dress a 1 star- unfortunately.

So many compliments on and about for a friend’s bachelorette party. The theme was sequin and THIS dress delivered. The color was phenomenal… it reminded me of a mermaid. Definitely hand wash and hang dry! As for cut, I teeter between the manufacturer Small and medium however, I chose the the Medium - the best choice for a 34DDD. The dress has stretch, but I could at least breathe and didn’t feel like a sausage casing.

I have been looking at this dress for over a year. The smallest size they had left was a small so i purchased it. The dress was too large for me at 5' 4", 112 lbs. The quality is really nice and I will either take the dress in myself on the sides or wear a lot of layers under it so that my hips fill out the dress. I kept it because the quality is nice and the contrasting silver and gold sequins don't poke through the inside liner material.

The cut of this dress is so flattering I came back to buy a second. I love the Freda pattern so much. I get so many complements on it too. I never wear dresses and was really worried about this one, but it's easy to wear and style, comfortable and pretty. I machine washed it and didn't iron it and still did not require shape wear or anything special.

I really like this dress. It is thin, so is a three-season dress to my way of thinking (autum, winter with a sweater, and spring). I would have rated it higher, but at 5'6" and 100 lbs., the small was too large. They don't offer an extra small one so I couldn't exchange it and had to send it back.

The dress looks just like in the images. It is snug and very flattering. The red flowers look like they're popping out of the dress. Two downsides are, The material feels inexpensive, To be fair it is. And the dress feels a little small. So sitting down and standing up, getting in and out of cars, all of that can be a little uncomfortable. But that comes with wearing address this tight. To see me from the front, Side, or walking, The dress looks beautiful as does the fit. And this situation you're wearing it for the look, Not comfort. :-)
