The media could not be loaded. So as title indicates, I have not owned a juicer before getting the opportunity to try out this semi-compact Fretta one, so can’t compare with other brands or on aspects like juice to pulp ratio (how much juice is actually pressed out). But I can say the overall experience so far has been pleasant and have not had any issues with this unit. I like this has a smaller footprint compared to larger juicers, therefore taking up less room in an already full kitchen. Perfect size for making smaller quantities of juice too. Easy to assemble, although getting the top bowl to seat correctly can be a bit tricky at times, but not a major complaint. Operating this is straight forward, but do make sure to add harder produce like carrots in first, then softer veggies/fruit afterwards. This juicer had no issues breaking down carrots either. Simply turn the dial to the right to start masticating the produce, then flip the dial to the left to reverse the auger to unblock any stuck pieces of food (note the reverse is a pulse function so you have to hold the dial until produce becomes dislodged). The juice shoot does have a stopper so you can release the juice periodically or just keep it open for free flow. Clean up is easy; I couldn’t find if the bowl parts were dishwasher safe or not as product description does not indicate it, so would recommend hand washing only. Also highly recommend cleaning the mesh at the bottom of the bowl right away so pulp does not dry up and get stuck. A nifty little toothbrush like cleaning tool does come with this for easier cleaning too. Overall I’m happy I got to try out this Fretta juicer, and the only thing I’m mad about is I didn’t get around to getting a juicer sooner; I actually quite enjoy making my own juices come to find out and store bought has no comparison to freshly pressed at home. This Fretta unit is well made for its price point, so if you’re in the market for one without breaking the bank, highly recommend this little guy.

I love this juicer and that it's a cold press masticating juicer. It works so well and has a decently wide chute which helps to make a quick juice in the mornings as I don't have to cut up fruits and vegetables as small as a machine with a narrower chute. it a pretty color in red and looks so nice on my counter. It's a small footprint and even though it's light and easy to put away I like to have it out as it's a nice small size.

Awesome machine for juicing. Easy to assemble. Easy to clean! Juice is well strained in the machine so juice is not chunky. You can put whole vegies and fruits in the machine and it will juice it! There are two different speeds, and a reverse mode. Great machine for healthier alternatives. So worth the investment!!
