Easy assembly, had all of the tools needed, but I found my own screwdriver easier to use. Color was darker than I thought based on pictures, but still fit within my color palette. Seats are comfy and roomy. Glad for the purchase. Would like them in regular height for dining table!

I have a few backless stools in my kitchen that are wearing out. Got these stools since they look very nice and they also have a backrest. These chairs are made of heavy and sturdy wood. The parts are well labeled and assembly steps are straight forward. Accessories needed like nuts, bolts and screws are supplied to the exact requirement. There is no spare left when assembly is completed so you know you’ve got it all. Took me 1 ½ hours to complete the assembly of the two chairs. Most of the parts fit together well except for the 2 side foot rests. Their pegs that fit into the pre-drill holes of the chair’s legs were difficult to go in flushed since the back legs are curved and have a slightly slanted face. There is still a small gap which I failed to close despite a lot of effort. The seat cushion is strong and firm. The chair sits fine but the hard backrest is a bit uncomfortable for long sitting. Wish it had come with some sort of cushion back. The screwed-in leg protectors at the bottom are made of hard plastic so the chair slips and slides easily on the wood floor of my kitchen. I ended up replacing the plastic screws with felt pads and that worked much better. Overall, I like the look of these chairs and their sturdiness. Wish they had come with a cushion backrest and the pegs for the side footrests are cut more precisely to fit the slanted and curvy back legs.

I love these--the style, the height, the quality. My only quibble is the footrests look awkward with them at different heights like that. But it's only a quibble, so I still gave a 5.

I think these would be great, but sadly there were no assembly instructions included in my box. After reading other reviews on the difficulty of assembly, I’m not going to try and put these together without them. I looked on their website, emailed and called but have gotten no response. So unfortunately I’ve got to give this one star when you sell a difficult to assemble product and forget something as simple as instructions. It makes me worry what else is missing. I’ll update if someone at Colamy responds with help and I’m able to construct these, but as of now I’m just looking at a bunch of pieces of wood and screws. Update: Support finally emailed the instructions, so I was able to put these together. They do look nice; but there are some chips in the wood on one chair.. Perhaps I was sent a returned box which would explain the missing instructions and damage? At any rate; I cannot recommend these. Price when reviewed: $163.66

First, these bar stools have a listing on the base of the chair seat stating no fire retardant. That is a huge plus to me and my wife. We've been on a long quest to de-toxify our home life. Fire retardants are top on the list of what to avoid. The chairs arrive in a large box and do require assembly. The assembly was straightforward, but it wasn't perfect. Two screw holes were not fully drilled out, causing the screw to get kicked to an angle when fastening. That required a bit of fiddling with to get them to seat properly. The chairs are really made of wood, and the wood feels sturdy. One of mine did arrive with the wood at the top of one of the legs having a small crack in it. The finish was mostly even overall - but I did find a couple small spots that were irregular. At the bottom of the legs, the feet do adjust for height. That is a great feature. The cushion is firm and still comfortable. It feels like it will last awhile. The material, the wood finish and the overall style looks like the product photos and is appealing. Despite my overall somewhat critical review, my wife and I are happy with these chairs. If I could give them a 4.5 rating, I would have.

The chair is beautiful. The height is perfect foor the kitchen bar. It is also solid for 200 lb person to sit on it. But I must to complain that it is really difficult to assemble because some nails required to be pinned into the wood in an angle. Once you failed, the wood part meight be damaged and left spaces between two parts.
