Living in a small condo I needed something for my over flow of recyclables. I loved the concept of it being a compact pop-up recycle bin that I could easily store away when not in use! Unfortunately, it is not that sturdy and lasted only 5 months. Within the first week the metal spring frame/wire started popping through the top so I had to keep pushing it back in. At 2-3 months I noticed the seams starting to tear and separate and yesterday while carrying it to the curb the handle completely tore off! I used this bin for plastics (1,2 & 5) like water and Gatorade bottles, yogurt cups and plastic packaging from fruit. I have the townships hard blue bin for glass etc… The only time it was outside was on recycle pick-up day which is only twice a month. ***NOTE: it blows away very easily so be prepared to go looking for it like I had to the first time I set it out or make sure you bring it inside right after the recycling truck empty’s it. Fortunately I’m home all day so I’d listen for the truck. ... show more
