Overall, this is a good value for what you get and a good addition to an emergency kit. The only thing that is a downside is the fact that my storm matches were too long to fit in the match case. Great price good quality except for the flint striker is very small in diameter and won't last long. The compass works and there is a neat little signal mirror inside the waterproof cap. Whistle is pretty loud but could be louder. Would buy again and recommend to others.

Well made. Covers the top five survival gadgets to signal for help, start fire, alarm and navigate all in a waterproof container with lanyard. For the price, I highly recommend having one in every emergency/bug-out bag even school backpacks.

At eighty cents, not so bad; had I paid more than three dollars, I would have been mad. Better than nothing, but more a toy than anything. "signal mirror" is the size of a dime. I purchased 20 of them and put some in the cars, BOB's, get home bags, and camping gear. Again, better than nothing.

Nothing too special. I was just looking for a whistle when I first bought this. I have since found better and smaller whistles without the other items I don't need. The compass is slow and will give a wrong reading when near any type of metal.
