It turns into real good cocoa dirt. Just add water and then it will suck up all the water then you add more. It becomes very easy to separate once it's wet. If you don't want to do any work then don't! Just add water and come back in half an hour or so. If you store these outside they will burst the package sealing from the moisture in the air so be careful. It's not a huge deal but it is worth mentioning. I'm using this to patch some spots in my lawn that the sod didn't take on our new home. Cleaned out the dead stuff and replaced with this then I'll keep it watered and it should fill in on its own. Probably have to feed it too I'm thinking. Needed a lot of these bricks and this was the most I could find for the lowest price. ... show more

Finely ground
Color: 4pack
This coir is a finely ground product, unlike the coir my store bought transplants came in. It works well as potting soil when mixed with compost.

Lightweight garden soil
Color: 4pack
Great product! It’s light, rehydrates and expands as advertised, and worked well for my balcony garden. I appreciated not having to carry big bags of soil to the apartment, and my seeds have grown into little happy plants.

Great Solid product!
Color: 2pack
The media could not be loaded. For a first time grower it’s easy to process with no issues. There’s no weird smells and it doesn’t attract any insects. I purchased the 2 bricks 🧱 and was able to fill 1 1/2 fabric pots. And most important I was able to straight germinate to seedling with this Coco Coir.. I will purchase again ... show more

The bricks take up much less space then bags of coir. They expand in water in about 10mins.
