    • The Hawthorne and julep strainers work fantastically, the strainer is flimsy
Great construction on the Hawthorne and julep strainers. The metal edges are finished well enough, but could use some additional rounding or polishing for a better feel when using them every day. Very happy overall with the quality and the way they work though. Overall a good value. The strainer is adequate, but flimsy with the two wire handle and thin mesh. Feels like it's going to bend easily. I gave the mesh strainer away and replaced it with an OXO for the comfort/form factor. ... show more

The set is made from good, strong materials. The hawthorne strainer has a nice tightly wound coil compared to some other sets. The julep strainer is sturdy, and the standard cocktail strainer is easy to cleanout. This set is heavy, but it is a tradeoff that is worth it as I will likely have this set for a very long time. ... show more

I first received the wrong product- a cocktail shaker rather than strainers. When I wrote a review the manager reached out and made the situation right by sending the proper order at no charge. The strainers arrived and are good quality. This is excellent customer service!

    • Julep strainer is useless
Julep Strainer is far too small and doesn’t fit correctly in shaker or mixing glass so you need to use two hands to hold it in place and still it’s frustrating.
