The size is perfect. Not enough to hold so much that items get lost, but enough to hold the important items without struggling to get them out! The purse feels nice, the color is great (neutral khaki, will go with so much). The only downfall is a small imperfection in the leather on the front going down that you can see. I love the quality and design of this item. Blue color was not quite as bright as photo, though. It does have a smokey odor. I did as instructed and sprayed it with perfume and I even set it outside to air out, but the smell has only dissipated a little.
