Performance was consistent throughout the venue with clear audio and stable signal in a high-noise, high-traffic indoor environment. Battery performance exceeded expectations, delivering nearly 12 hours of continuous operation on a single charge without noticeable degradation. Channel selection and pairing were straightforward, and the radios maintained reliable communication. These radios are great. What drew me to the Trailblazer 250 was the size and the awesome battery life and range. The ability to use rechargeable or disposable batteries. These worked great with my young niece and nephew. I have used them for camping and snow shoeing. They were also great for going on cruises in my car with my buddies. Honestly I was excited about these GMRS radios. They have a nice feel, have a solid weight, tuned and removable antenna with repeater connect capability. Opened the box to find only 1 charging double ended USBC cable no cube (-1⭐️), both radios, antennas and batteries. Charged them and tried them out. Here’s where we start losing stars fast. • Programming for standard use was easy ✅ • Volume / On / Off knobs we’re so loose the volume kept getting turned down ❌ (-1⭐️) • Distance test (all outdoors) - we tried these at the Campsites at Fort Wilderness on Walt Disney Property - In our camp loop ✅ - From the bus loop at check in to our camp loop (1100) ❌ - From the campsite to meadow trading post ❌ - From our campsite to the big pool ❌ - From the meadow trading post to trails end ❌ - Direct line of sight < 1000 ft ✅ - Direct line of sight > 1000 ft ❌ In all -2 more ⭐️ Unfortunately, this set of radios is no more than a fancy version of a child’s radio and will no way shape or form hold up to transmitting and or receiving signals like a professional style radio for GMRS use. I bought these radios and we’ve been having fun trying them out. They are very easy to use, honestly so easy that my 4 year old grandson figured them out right away. We first used them around the house and had no issues at all. My husband and I tested them one evening when he drove to pick up food and I stayed home. Even with all the buildings and interference in our area, they worked for the two-mile distance needed to get there and back, which really impressed us! We are excited to use these for for hiking, amusement parks, or big events where we might split up for a while. My husband mentioned a time he was at a golf tournament and couldn’t get cell service because so many people were on their phones and we decided these would be perfect for that. Overall, they’re simple, reliable, and very handy to have. I’m glad we bought them and would recommend them to others. ... show more

Very disappointed in these radios. We thought we where upgrading from the previous cobras but it was definitely a downgrade. The radios where scratchy and hard to hear and only transmit from a close distance.

Sound quality not the best. Does work about 1 mile through heavily wooded area and down a cliff. That was good. Battery life maybe 24 hrs if left on, which is good as well. Pretty good for price.
