I am absolutely blown away by these 4G walkie-talkies. I bought them for my family to use on a cross-state road trip, and they have completely changed how we stay in touch when we're in separate vehicles. I must say I really recommend this walkies, they are perfect for communicating with my daughter ( anywhere she goes) without having to buy her a cellphone ( she is 9 years old). The battery lasts for days ( like 5 days, depending on how much you use them) plus the customer service is amazing, I contacted them to add an extra contact for my daughter ( a friend that has the same device with her family) and they added her right away. They are very robust and the sound is super clear. A plus: you can even conect headphones so you can keep your chat more privately. they are worth the price.

Customer service is excellent!!! Keep in mind, they are in China, so there is about a twelve hour time difference which may delay communications. They also operate business hours only local China time, so don't expect an answer on weekends. These are POC Radios, and they're great! Loud and clear, reminds me of the old Nextel technology. I believe they use IOT sim cards which operate as encrypted voice transmissions through the data portion of cell towers. They are not carrier specific, they will hook up to which ever carrier has the best signal (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile). Range is impressive! I spoke to my friend who was in Cape Cod from NYC, crystal clear communications. The radio volume is loud and ranges from one (being the lowest) to five. I keep my radios on one, but if you're in a noisy environment you have the capability to raise the volume so you can still hear the transmissions. Also, the service is advertised and confirmed by customer service as unlimited, lifetime service. When the service expires (in about a year), contact them in a timely fashion and they will renew another year for free and continue each year after that (you must contact them each year). It's advertised as 200 channels but in reality you can have up to 200 groups. Each set of radios are paired. The radios are linked to an account and you can have them make different groups within your account. More groups would only be necessary if you have several radios. You can't talk to, or hear anyone unless their radios are linked to the same account (which customer service can do for you). So if you're friends bought radios, in order to talk with each other, you would have to get the radios linked to one account. Charging takes about 4 - 6 hours. The light on the bottom of the battery turns green when fully charged, and there is built in over charge protection, so you don't have to worry about over charging. I wanted to give a five star rating but there is one issue that I am not completely satisfied with. I ordered four radios and tried several different "shoulder mic's" that connect through the external jacks. On all of my radios, compared to the stand alone radio’s speaker, the sound volume that comes though the external mic's speaker is very low (regardless of how loud you raise the volume). This only happens through the external jacks. If you use the stand alone radios, you will not have this issue. I contacted customer service and asked if there was an update they could roll out to correct this. They said their tech department was unable to recreate the issue, which is disappointing. My experience is that if you want to use an external mic, an ear tube mic works the best because you can hear the volume better than the shoulder mic.
