I like the feel and quality of this case although I can not speak to how it holds up long-term. Pen retention is rock-solid as there is a channel in the case that aligns with the devices built-in magnets. The only issue I have is with the spare nibs holder. It is incredibly difficult to get a spare nib out short of shaking it ferociously which can then cause your nibs to fly all over the place. Overall, I prefer it to my branded leather case and it was a fraction of the cost.

Don't spend money on the R2 cases. This is perfect. It's an exact fit and protects perfectly. Love the slot to hold the pen and extra tips. Your pen wont drop oit in your nag or get lost. It's not leather, but a good quality and will protect your Remarkable.

After several different designs of cases, THIS is the only one I will use now. I love how lightweight and thin it is, yet sturdy enough to feel like it is still protecting my reMarkable. I especially love the little compartment to store extra pen nibs. That is such a helpful, useful function. Love how the pen is magnetically drawn to its place. This is the perfect case for me, and I will not go back to any bulkier ones ever again.

I had to return it only because I no longer had use for the digital pad I was using but this cover was very affordable and made of great material that really fit the pad well and kept it protected. No need to spend $100s on other covers when this one did the job plenty well.

This is my third cover in as many months for the RM2. The original black leather one was beautiful to look at and hold, but was too expensive to keep and I didn't like the risk of the marker accidentally detaching or flying off, so I returned it. I then got the Ayotu Grey Fabric one. I like the fabric look ad feel, but it has the same issue with the risk of the marker detaching in a rucksack or accidentally being flunged, so I kept the RM inside a sleeve when I was storing it in a ruksack etc. Enter the Cobak (in Grey Fabric, which was a later addition option to the different colours). From the minute I got it, I knew this is the one that would tick all the boxes. It looks and feels great. I couldn't tell for the first day or so that its in fact NOT fabric material (its textured PU), but its so well made that its near impossible (and I do mean near impossible) to tell that its PU and not fabric. The maker sits well in its slot and you can pull out and put back with ease (makes a satisfying click when you slot it back). My humble advice: get the Grey Fabric one, as it looks super classy when compared to all the other options! I also note that Amazon Canada stock a a Blue Denim look one too, if that's your thing.
