It works very well, it is wider than other zero-gravity chairs and it has padding, so it is much more comfortable. I also like the retractible shade. It also stays steady in whatever reclining position even if you do not activate the little locking finger triggers.

Received the chair today, earlier than expected, very happy about that. We were looking for a chair with a sunshade, therefore the choices were limited. After a disappointing product from another supplier we settled on this model. The chair is beautiful and very comfortable but when we opened the box the clip for the sunshade was broken .....again. Same problem we had with the previous supplier. There is only one clip, on one side holding the sunshade it place. That creates too much stress on the clip and it breaks during transit. We bought a set about 8 years ago which has a clip on both sides to hold the sunshade firmly in place. it is still functioning to this day. That is the way it should be. Someone had the great idea to save $ .20 per chair in the manufacturing process. But by doing so they created a $ 20.00 headache in returns and probably a $ 200.00 damage in reputation. We call that penny wise and dollar foolish. This little piece diminishes an overall great product and makes me wonder about the entire product line... Where else did they possibly skimp? Conclusion, the chair is very nice and a good value for the money so I recommend it if you do not care about a broken clip, but if you do be prepared to return it until they get it right. ... show more

So the only just received it today and Saturday night for a couple minutes not long at all it's very sturdy very comfortable the mesh on the back feels like Arrow flow through pretty well so I think it would be good in that sense I don't think it'll be overly hot or anything however it is it's not overly heavy but it's not something that you're going to carry for you know a walk up the beach or something this is going to be something you take like from the sidewalk to the beach and set it up right there not something you're going to be carrying around any period of time or anything like that I was planning on keeping it in my car I have a Prius and I think there's enough room in the back for it to sit back there but it is going to leave much room for anything else so I don't know if he'll be keeping it in my car cuz I like to go to local park and things like that and sit and have a drink and relax sometimes and is having a cup holder and all is nice but just don't think it's going to quite work as an in the car all the time type deal they'll still work for if I'm planning to go to the go somewhere and you know have like a little picnic kind of thing but it won't be far from where I park and it'll definitely be planned I don't think this will be something that will be staying in my car all the time like I was hoping also I purchased a used or you know damage packaging one or whatever whatever it was they described it as and everything is fine with it except the bracket that holds the shade visor out of the way when it's folded up and things like that it's broken off so sucks but for $10 less it doesn't break my heart not to have that ... show more

I've always had a problem getting comfortable sitting on folding beach chairs, camping chairs and patio chairs. They're made too cheap and without the comfort of the user in mind. A few weeks ago I ordered this Oversized Zero Gravity Chair after shopping around and comparing item descriptions. I wasn't disappointed. The size of the chair in itself is enough to make you comfortable. The overall width of the chair is just over 33 inches and the seat area is 25 inches wide. The chair is rated at 400 lbs and feeling how sturdy the whole thing is, I believe it to be accurate. The armrests are made out of wood and are wide and comfortable. A feature I like is the detachable tray that you can mount to the side of the chair. It's big enough to hold a sandwich and has a drink holder in it. The chair is padded down the length to add to your comfort. The material appears to be a comfortable polyester and is attached to the frame with bungee line which gives under load increasing comfort level. There's also a detachable pillow to support your head and neck. What separates this chair from the countless others I've had over the years is the zero gravity feature. The chair reclines from straight up to 170 degrees. As you recline the legs kick out and the bungie's take up the load and you're in a really comfortable position. Once you settle in at a particular angle you simply flip the lock on the side of the chair and it'll stay that way until you release the lock and change your position. Overall I am completely happy with this Zero Gravity chair. So much so that I'm ordering a second one for my wife. If you're tired of cheap, uncomfortable beach and patio chairs, absolutely without a doubt, give this chair a shot. It'll be the last outdoor chair you'll ever need to order. ... show more
