I was given a smaller cup like this, different shape but clear glass double walled and they were too small and fragile. I was given 4 and 2 have cracked already. These seem to be much more durable and the size is perfect.

These mugs are nice looking (though a bit plain to some people) and are well made/nicely finished. They do keep beverages hot/cold longer than a single-walled glass/mug. One of the best things is that because of their style they have wide and flat bottoms, which make them very stable when set on different surfaces (couch cushion, table, on a pile of magazines, in the sink, on uneven surfaces). I've had several other brands of double-walled mugs that have very rounded bottoms with only a small portion that is flat on which to set the mug. These invariably have easily tipped over at some point and spilled their contents or have fallen and broken. These mugs never tip over. They are great and I use them everyday. ... show more
