  • Using for Small Business
Size: 3030-Evo Max
Honestly couldn't be happier with the quality of the machine, outside of a few expected issues. The linear rail guides are incredibly robust. I have used the machine exclusively for Aluminum machining up until now with a 1.5kw spindle upgrade. The cost for the value of the quality you recieve is unmatched in the market right now. Expected issues: Mainly revolve around repeat accuracy across multiple setups while holding a static 0 work location. The ball screws have some small dead spots. Has not been a problem for accuracy within a single program. This is easily solved with the ball screw upgrade if you require high precision across multiple setups in relation to each other. Customer support has been phenomenal, I have been able to talk to a real person each time I have contacted support, and they have always responded within 24h, even with general questions. Great machine so far. ... show more

  • Highly recommend build quality alone is better than most
Size: 3030-Evo Max
Totally recommend this Miller over same price category bought a gimitsu 3020 had it for about a week and the table stopped moving all together I can tell by the construction alone this printer is three times better than anything and it's price category for $50 more than what I paid for the other printer it has thread protection plates as well as full guide rails instead of just bars there was a tiny bit more effort to put together but the instruction manual in line was very picture-oriented with exact descriptions and all around a better product highly recommend highly recommend ... show more

  • It definitely cuts things
Size: 3030-Evo Max
Its okay... I design, toolpath and write my own Gcode for industrial mill and lathe operations. Got this for the house to run small projects on. It will 100% cut steel if you know what you're doing with speeds, feeds and proper cutter selection.. Ive cut .25 4140 (annealed) .25 316 Stainless Steel and .25 O1 (Annealed) with carbide endmills from 1/8in to 1/4in.. The only reason its not getting 5 stars is the damn thing has a mind of its own once its finished running its program.. I always hit the Estop as soon as it finishes because it will find a way to ruin your freshly cut part.. also I've let it just sit and idle while tweaking a program and the damn thing will just start homing itself outa no where.. and sometimes it will just randomly do the exact opposite of home.. Its software for sure has some bugs or fkin ghosts or whatever they need to fix... But it will for sure cut steel right out of the box with appropriate bit selection and knowing your speeds and feeds! And WD-40 in a spritz bottle helps a lot. DO NOT USE THE AEROSOL CAN VERSION! If you do you need to spray that into a spritz bottle first! Or else you're going to cause a fire. ... show more

  • Great machine at this price point.
Size: 3030-Evo Max
Fantastic machine for the price, easy to assemble, and I was up and running in 45 minutes because of their Fantastic support team and great videos. In full disclosure I am a toolmaker by day and am very familiar with cnc machines and their limitations but if you want a small home machine for light duty work this machine is hard to beat. ... show more

  • Worst experience ever
Size: 3030-Evo Max
Update - customer service responded within 24 hours and I had new parts on the way the next day. Unfortunately they have to come from China. Also, after about 100 hours of runtime, I checked all the bolts, some vibrated a little loose so my advice is this - after you get it all put together, test everything out and make sure it works, then go back and put BLUE thread locker on each bolt. It's better to do it just one bolt at a time. Update, after extensive trouble shooting Arlan and I discovered that the problem was the power switch itself. Not the control board. Such a simple little thing. He's sending me a new enclosure and was very patient and helpful. Also, if you replace the board UPDATE THE FIRMWARE AND RE-LOAD THE PARAMETERS... I cannot stress that enough. The firmware update failing is normal. Watch the tutorial videos. They use the same board for other models so a replacement board may or may not have settings for a different model. Update Continues to be problematic. Exchanging for a new one with the company but I suggest looking elsewhere. ... show more

  • Good machine, switches of poor quality
Size: 3030-Evo Max
This is a decent machine. Not a large professional machine, but I bought it to use as a hobbyist. The only problems I have had with it are the quality of the switches. I have had to replace the switch on the control module, and have also replaced the switch on the router head. If you heavily load the router head the switch will overheat and melt. ... show more

  • A sturdy desktop CNC A sturdy desktop CNC
Size: 3060-Evo Max
I’ve been very happy with my AnoleX CNC machine so far. One of the biggest things I like about it is how robust and solid the machine feels compared to many hobby-level CNCs. I also prefer that it uses lead screws instead of belts, which in my opinion provides better precision and stability during operation. That said, this is not exactly a plug-and-play machine for someone with zero CNC experience. Having some knowledge of CNC setup, software, and troubleshooting definitely helps. I personally design projects using Easel software and run the machine with Universal Gcode Sender (UGS), and that combination has worked very well for me. I did have one minor issue where the dust cover broke at the screw mount point after a few projects, which caused a pretty noticeable rattle from vibration. I contacted AnoleX customer service, explained the issue, and they sent me a replacement part with no hassle at all. Great customer support experience overall. I would also highly encourage anyone considering this machine to think about dust collection and possibly building a CNC cabinet or enclosure. The machine can get pretty loud during operation and it definitely makes a mess without proper dust management. I’ll attach a photo without dust collection. If you’re looking for a solid lead screw CNC machine and are willing to learn the software side of CNC work, I think the AnoleX is a great value. ... show more
