  • A tremendous value in a small form factor
Size: 3030-Evo Max
This machine is honestly a great value for anyone who doesn't mind a smaller work area for the tradeoff of being able to mill metal right out of the box (provided you buy your own bits for metal). The is zero play in any parts of the machine. It is incredibly solid and sturdy. The machine weighs 40 pounds and is built like a tank! The accuracy was fantastic right out of the box ass well! I had no issues working with the built-in wi-fi right out of the box and the assembly was very easy to do with the included full page, color instructions and set-up guide. The customer service is fantastic and while this seems like a newer company, their offerings in this area are already looking incredibly solid! I'm very curious to see what they can provide in future machines! ... show more

  • Best cnc machine for new users and hobbyists. Outstanding customer service.
Size: 3030-Evo Max
I’m a student with minimal experience using cnc machines. However, after working with the machine for over a month, I can confidently say that the machine is exceptionally capable for its size and price. Given a basic knowledge of CAM software, operating the machine in conjunction with Candle makes for an extremely user friendly experience. Final note: outstanding customer service. Customer service was a massive help when troubleshooting throughout the learning curve. ... show more

  • Great machine for a variety of tasks
Size: 3030-Evo Max
I bought this CNC a few months ago and have had nothing but great results with it. I've machined a lot of wood on this machine as well as some aluminum, polycarbonate, and even some delrin. I've had good parts with all of these materials and have had basically zero issues with it so far despite knowing basically knowing nothing about machining in the beginning. The assembly instructions were very methodical and I had no issue following them. The build size of this machine is perfectly adequate for the parts I like to make and I would definitely recommend this CNC to someone interested. ... show more

  • Arlan's my GOAT!!!!!!!!!!!
Size: 3030-Evo Max
Seeing the features of this machine, I've been having a hard time wrapping my head around why they're priced so well compared to other popular brands. I decided to give Anolex a try and I'm honestly amazed at what you get for your money. This little machine is a tank and it absolutely rips through aluminum with ease. As an aside, one of the leads on the power switch on my trim router came loose mid operation and I contacted customer service about it. While I could have fixed it myself, that's not really the point. I wanted to see if Anolex stands behind their products. Sure enough, Arlan took care of me and went above and beyond. He didn't grapple with me about fixing the switch or user error -- he simply replaced the spindle, no questions asked. He has been so incredibly helpful and has made me confident in knowing I'll be an Anolex customer as long as they're around. ... show more

  • Great machine at this price point.
Size: 3030-Evo Max
Fantastic machine for the price, easy to assemble, and I was up and running in 45 minutes because of their Fantastic support team and great videos. In full disclosure I am a toolmaker by day and am very familiar with cnc machines and their limitations but if you want a small home machine for light duty work this machine is hard to beat. ... show more

  • Best bang for your buck!
Size: 3030-Evo Max
I'll update this as I get further into exploring it's capabilities. But so far it's been really impressive with the more robust ball screws and the more powerful 800W spindle. As with most machining practices, you need to make sure your bed and spindle are square before you go to town. (Otherwise, I'm sure you'll get bad results.) I did this by slightly shimming a permanent spoiler board. I also got a 1/4" collet to hold even larger endmills and am pleased with the results. You just need to keep your expectations reasonable as this is a sub-$1K cnc router. It's not going to be going head-to-head with a Haas or Tormach. I'll also add that this does have a barrier to entry as knowing how to machine is invaluable. The machine may be capable, but no one is going to teach you how to do CAD/CAM design and then produce your G-code. The first test tutorials are easy because you have a G-code file ready for you to just start. After that, you need to make or find your own. ... show more
