Description

Industrial PTFE-coated saw blades represent a great choice for the shop that keep their blades running all day, every day. This blade features a laser-cut heavy-gauge plate made of German Steel (46-48 Rockwell in hardness) to guarantee great cutting performance, also in saws with lots of power. The teeth are made of micrograin carbide brazed to the blade body through a special tri-metal metallic bond (copper-silver-copper) to last longer and deliver smooth cuts. In addition this tool features expansion slots to reduce noise, along with anti-vibration design. Blade’s Non-Stick PTFE Coating keeps the blade running cool, reduces pitch build-up and protects against corrosion. Manufactured following precise procedures and perfectly balanced, this quality blade is delivered in unique CMT plastic case. • Butter Baby!
Literally, I had no idea a saw bose would be that significant of a difference. Prior to this, I used the 80 blade admiral from Harbor Freight, which was good, as the views indicated. Much, much quieter, and did I say buttery smooth cut?

  • Blade will last and delivers on the advertising!
Hello, I used this blade again today, and just wanted to tell you that it was AWESOME. I am over 60 years old, been a woodworker and remodeler most of my life - remodeling my house and maintaining and improving half a dozen others for various relatives. I have done a LOT of projects, and built a LOT of things, but I've never seen or used a blade as nice as this one - 221.060.10, 10" blade, 5/8" bore, Max RPM 6000. I used it today and made over 60 cuts in 3/4" MDF. It made every cut like butter, not one burn, not one chipout of the material. Very impressive, at least to me! On top of all that, when I took the blade out of the saw to put it away - I noticed that the paint hadn't even worn through and you almost could not tell that this blade had ever even been used. The only telltale sign of use was a very slight polished ring on the orange paint where the blade had made contact with the materials being cut. Wanted to say thanks to CMT, for making a product that delivers on the advertising and that's something you don't see a lot anymore! ... show more

  • A true Trapezoidal Blade with Muscle
The trapezoidal cutters are unique compared to the more common ATB blades. I haven't yet tried to use for slots or dados, but it looks like the clearing chipper cutters will do the job will little to no clean-up given this trapezoidal profile. My first CMT blade replacing my SawStop factory one. Take a look at the Jonathan Katz-Moses slow motion videos if you're in doubt of CMT. So far worth the money! ... show more

  • Pleasantly surprised
This is the first CMT product I purchased. I did so with some trepidation, but it seems like it all paid off. The cuts this blade delivers are excellent. For cross cuts in wood, it does a great job. Being a TCG and not ATB blade, there is some "fuzz" at the back end of cross cuts, but not really any tear out. For rips in wood, it leaves an almost glue line edge. This was in even 8/4 hard maple and white oak. In thinner hardwoods of various types, the feeding was easier and the cut just as clean. I was rather surprised at this. Clearly, this is NOT a rip blade, or even a cross cut blade, but for both it did a great job. In plywood and melamine, which is what this blade should really be used for, it also did a great job. The plywood cuts were both clean with little or no tear out in the bottom, and none in the top. This was Baltic Birch, CDX sheathing, and OSB on cuts with and across the grain on the faces. In double sided melamine, the top had NO chip out, but the bottom did have some, albeit very little. I did test some veneer plywood, and there was some chip out on the bottom - a 60 or 80 tooth ATB blade would probably be best here. I did not try this blade for plastics, but would use it for them instead of other tooth grinds since the TCG can better handle these materials. Overall, the blade was quiet, didn't vibrate, and looks very well made. The teeth where sharpened with what I would say is 600 grit diamond wheels because they look polished, much like Forrest blade teeth. The teeth are thick, which will provide many resharpenings. This product is made in Italy. All in all, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would certainly recommend this blade. ... show more

  • Great Table saw blade
First time using a CMT blade and must say I am impress with the blade. The teeth are much bigger than your box store blades, but the cuts are amazing. I mostly cut plywood and this blade cut super buttery smooth. Clean and no burn marks at all. How long will the blade last, we will have to see. I highly recommend the blade. Would like to try out their combo blade but will have to wait. ... show more

  • Great Cross Cut Blade
I have been holding off writing a review on this saw blade, as I have been changing and updating my home shop. This is first time I have used a CMT blade and I am not disappointed, I have been putting it through heavy use with plywood, hardwood, and softwood and it is still just sharp and true beautiful cut lines on anything I have cut so far. I am very impressed and I would suggest these to anyone that wants a good blade. ... show more

  • Not impressed. Freud will always make better blades
Cut quality is poor. Less carbide than Freud blades and they charge you the same as Freud does, sometimes more. I ll be sticking with the other Italian guys
