Super easy setup and ready for use in under 5 minutes (and that includes opening the box, setting everything up, then throwing the box away afterwards). The heater is on a timer, which is perfect. Pros: It’s compact for small spaces like apartments. Hangs up with easy assembly and easy to put in storage. Comes with sturdy hanging clips. It’s the size of an average water heater when blown up by air. It’s quiet. At electricity at $.32 per hr my bill for 4 hrs use would equal to $1.28 a day in my city. Cheaper than a coin laundry dryer machine. Cons: It’s not very efficiently hot enough to dry clothes well at 30-60 mins. Can’t hold much, about 5 light weighted items. I wrung out tightly any water from these clothes, placing 1 light rayon blouse, three light weight cotton boxers, and 1 cotton plaid sheer shirt. Set to 90 mins and they’re still damp. Leaving clothes out overnight on an outside clothing line drys my clothes the next morning at no cost but time. So if you want to wait 4 hours for 5 light sheer fabrics to dry I suppose this works. It’s just not time efficient. My hair dryer has hotter heat than this low heat air blow unit. If you want a portable air dryer this would work. It just takes 4 hrs, and for light fabrics such as light weighted shirts, linen, sheer fabrics, thin fabrics, underwear. Sweaters, thick socks and jeans would take significantly longer and double plus time to dry. This unit would be good for clothes that normally are tumble dry. So total drying time for my 5 items to be bone dry was 180 mins aka 3hrs. ... show more

I live in a very small space and a traditional dryer (and washer) are not going to work. I purchased this dryer and I am amazed at how easy it was to put together and how well it works If you are on the fence about purchasing a portable dryer, then this is the one I would recommend. Hint: I placed a air freshener in the bottom and it seems to help give the clothes a little bit of a fresher smell ... show more

Stopped working on first use, heater burned out and was smoking. Absolute junk and a fire hazard. Base is flimsy and the poles don't stay together. Nothing to separate the hangers to put space between the hanging clothes. Pants and long nightgowns bunch up on the bottom because it is not long enough. I set it for maximum time with 8 pieces of clothing, 4 on each side. It is impossible to hang pieces on all 4 sides because of spacing issue of the top piece of this item. I put clothes pins between hangers to keep them from moving. The top and bottom pieces are flimsy thin pieces of metal. The whole thing tips over easily. I have a pop up Christmas tree with a better base and pole that I paid $10 for. Don't waste your money on this junk. It is not worth even $5 let alone $60. I like that I can dry clothes indoors when it's raining outside, also to remove dampness from fabrics that have been outside on humid days or in light rain. This portable clothes dryer may be more useful for someone traveling in an RV or a small camper. I bought it to go with my small portable washing machine to use in my apartment so I do not have to walk all the way to the laundromat a few blocks down from my apartment. It does not hold many items even once they are distributed on hangers. It also does not remove the stiffness or lint buildup on the clothing from washing them. This portable dryer heats up the room that it’s in very much as the heat simply rises out of the top.
