Overall i like the shirt. I spent the day at a beach where I have been burned before, several times. This shirt kept me protected all day. My only complaint, which is minor, is the two tone shirts are sewn together in a way that makes it slightly uncomfortable. There is a hem line across your chest. Minor for sure, and you get used to it. Like I said, the shirt did it's job, so the minor discomfort is well worth it. I'll order another one.

The fit is about what I expected. It is no where near the widebody, puffy sleeved Garth Brooks style fit of other UV/fishing style shirts. It's a nice fit more like a t-shirt but not skin tight like some workout clothes. The arms might be skinny for some people, but they are fine for me (I don't like pleated cuffs and prefer these kinds of cuts on sleeves). The hood is an excellent addition and helps keep the sun off my neck while pulling weeds or building stuff out in the yard. I would work out in it if I jogged in the daylight. However, the material will stick to skin pretty good when wet but it does dry fast. I will probably get some more in future because of the hood.

I wore this for 3 hours of fishing in full sun @ 85 degrees. I'm on medication that makes me burn easily (especially ears). No problems at all. Remained cool & comfortable. Only negative is hood is somewhat oversized. If you're not wearing a hat, it will fall over your eyes.

I expected a soft, light-weight material that would be comfortable in the summer sun. This is not. It’s a medium weight and somewhat coarse fabric. Not absorb any or breathable. This is better suited for the spring or fall. Over a soft t-shirt. Due to the low price, I’ll keep it.
