This is one of the best minor upgrades I did for my bathroom. Since we replaced this curtain with old one, the bathroom no longer has a weird smell of mildew. We use this as a showerliner for our new shower curtain. Clorox one in and other shower curtain out of the tub for "aesthetics". Yes it is water resistance, thick, but not too thick - just right. It was finally time to replace our shower curtain, and after not finding great inventory locally, this one is definitely my favorite so far, I know that sounds super lame for a shower liner but this one is very thick, durable, and is much easier to use. It feels like a nice quality plastic, but I bought this because it’s supposed to be mold/bacteria resistant. It’s not. I scrub my bathtub on a very regular basis, but it had soap scum and pink and brown mold built up on it within a month.
